I have a dear friend, a bruly intelligent sports writer who, of all things, is a gardner in his free time. He spends hours in his yard planting and doing all this stuff with his lawn that seems thoroughly out of character. Another friend of mine, a lawyer, seems to spend all of his free time working, on all things, under these broken-down car. Their obsessions with these things seemed odd to me (although they both explained that their respective obsessions were wonderful stress relievers) right up until my most consuming stress-reliever also took the form of near obsession...cooking. I love food, I love to make it, I love to try to make new things and play with receipies and see what I can come up with. As such, I've gained a great appreciation for good food, as well as a very critical view of just what falls into that catagory.

The sushi is average, and although the hibachi food is very good,
to have it you have to put up with your cook standing in front of
you for twenty minutes performing the same tired routine that
you get at every like restaurant in the country.

This is a very good diner, the food is better than average (and
what more can you expect from a diner?) and they always have a wide
variety of wonderful desserts.

I didn't realize this place wasn't everywhere (my job
has me touring the country a bit, ) and I grew to miss Pasta Bella
going to other pasta restaurants that weren't nearly as

Carrabba's food is excellent, and the portions are big...always
leave with another decent sized meal to take with me. Just don't
order the house wine.

The best thing about the restaurant is the building, it's
beautiful; however, the food is terribly bland, they've
heard of spices there (I mean, they konw there is such a thing)
they just choose not to indulge in them.

It has a nice atmosphere, and the food is above average. They do,
however, serve Buffalo wings there that are out of this world.

Certainly the best restaurant in Kutztown in nearly every regard.
Their microbrews are really good, and most everything on the
menu is of big portions and very good. The service is above average.

The place doesn't look nearly as good as it is. It's a
little run down and dirty, but the food is pretty good, so long
as your diet allows for a lot of oil.
