The food here is good, at best. While they have a good lunch business and their food is freahly prepared; I would go elsewhere unless I was at the Mall looking for Chinese food.

This is the same Maria Von Trapp from "The Sound Of Music" (a very true story). After moving to America, she and her family started the Trapp Family Lodge. A place for above average lodgings and incredible food. Still run by he family, and still upholding the family traditions and attention to detail. I go here any time I am in Stowe and I recommend it, even if only for one dinner. The menu is a bit expensive, but worth ever penny. less

I saw the kitchen and what happened there. The place had and still has incredible standards. You could eat off of the floor anywhere in the building, you still can. I went here last summer when I was in Stowe and everything was still excellent. Their menu s expensive, but ther steaks are the best in Stowe and worth the prices. less

Their seafood is great, but only half the story. The steaks are excellent too - I mean this IS Texas. Their service is a bit young and as a result they can get distracted sometimes. The prices are quite high, but the portions are huge, you WILL take half your meal home for lunch the next day. The Filet Mignon is incredible, served on a large oval cutting board, vegetables on each side and Dutchess Potatoes all around. The presentation, portions, athmosphere, service, even the coffee, make this a meal worth every penny. The history of the building is also rather impressive. It was originally a stop on the Carriage-Route to Harrisburg, in the late 1700's. I have been there many times in the last 20+ years. I have never had a less than perfect meal and it really does feel like a piece history. less

They make it in sheet-pans and cut slices to order, as many as you like. They will even cater large parties inexpensively. I played in a band for many years and we played in Olean often. The bass player & drummer in the band turned me on to Tasta's pizza by the foot and I must say I got hooked. It is not gourmety pizza by any means, but it is very good, hot, fast and very affordable. A great place for a starving musician. less

This is one of the finest dining experiences in New Orleans. Their food is incredible, worth every penny of the rather steep price. The service is superb, never an empty glass or plate. Yes, I agree with Karen D., the Bananas Foster is a must.

The bagels are made on the premises, fresh all day long. REAL bagels, NC style; they are wonderful. Sandwiches or spreads, with these bagels you will never be disappointed.

The best Chinese food in Harrisonurg. The buffet is great; wide selection and refreshed quickly and often. Athmosphere is cozy and intimate. I have been going to Yee's for many years and have never had a less than excellent meal.
