I am not from the area, I was passing through and stayed at the hotel
next door for a flight the next day. I went here mainly for the location.
I ordered the Alfredo. The noodles were tough, the sauce was so-so.
I have had something that tasted close out of a jar from the market.
Nothing really special. The bread was good. The older lady that
seated me must have been having a bad night. She seemed unfriendly
and unsmiling. The service was fair. The waiter asked several
times if I needed anything, so a least I was not abandoned after
I was seated. I have had Italian food in LA, not to mention several
other locations around the country, that puts this place to shame.
If it is all you know (or is the best you have ever had) then I guess
it would be great. I am afraid I get around alot and was not very
impressed however. Sorry to the locals, no offence intended.
Might have just been a bad night...but in my opinion it was over
priced for what I got.

are like a glob of dry dough, no sauce and tasteless. I only go there
for the Fajitis Grande, and that is worth once or twice a year AT
MOST. Over priced, loud, slow service (although usually friendly)
and most of the food on the menu is yck. I recommend going up the
street to Casa Jiminiez for a darn site better meal, REAL mexican
food, sit down, beer and all you can eat for 6.50. I often go and
order the Chili verde Burrito A la Cart for 3.99 and can't
eat it all. Try that for a better meal, then go back to Acapulco
for happy hour if you must...

This is one of those places you actually need to know how to order
for to get the best out of it. I recommend this over driving to Riverside,
where you might find better Chinese, but in my opinion, not by
much. I have to say I have always been treated very well here, the
service is very, very good for an area (HEMET) that in general
is usually not very attentive when it comes to service. I suggest
that you skip the common stuff like "Sweet and Sour"
and order the Chinese meal with the Mala three flavors, House
Chrispy Shrimp and house special Lo main. Ask for the assorted
Won Ton soup (often called "Wor Won Ton" in other restuants)
when you order (it comes with it and has veggies, shrimp and meat
rather than just noodles). I really like their food, the price
is actually very good considering it usually supplies me with
lunch for the next day. They serve plenty for me, but then may be
I eat lighter than some. (Hubbie can't eat it all either!)

I ate there once, never again. I can honestly say I got food poisioning
from this place, I was sick for two days. The service was not only
bad, the waitress was an older lady with a real attitude toward
anyone under 50. She crooned over all the elders and left us waiting
ages for a glass of water. When we tried to make a polite inquire
as to when we would get our food (after 45 min) she stiffend up and
glared like she was going to take a switch to us (we are in our early
40's, but up starts to her I guess). I think it is great that
the older folks have a place of their own, and honestly, they are
welcome to it. It is over priced, an old tired interior and disgusting
service. I could cook better at home in the broiler for a fraction
of the price and avoid the insulting treatment. "This is
a place for laying down and avoiding" [Monty Python]

Rather over priced I think. The food is good, I would give it on
its own 4-5 stars, but if you have the money to spend here, spend
some on gas and hit Riverside for a better experience. This place
it tiny and crowded. It was rather like eating in a closet. Service
is good considering the work load of the waiters, but not a calming
experience for me. For the money, and atmosphere, I'd say
"no" to the next time someone suggests it.

I like their pasta and shrimp alfredo. Recommended for this dish
alone. Over all, I agree with the majority of the posts on this
place, I dislike the noise level and the screaming kids, but as
said, it IS a family place. I just wish people would teach kids
how to behave in a resturant. (Sometimes I don't care to share
the joys of parenthood). Other than that, it has some good, but
not specifically memorable, food.
