I've ever seen at a private mexican restaurant. From the separate
bar to the gorgeous patio, to the well appointed dining area, all aesthetics
have been considered. Friendly staff who all seem to be quite happy
to work...an attitude which is becoming harder to find. The menu is
nearly a novel. It is overwhelming, but the fresh hand made salsa or
guacamole ranchero make it quite pleasant to take your time perusing.
You will find all of the standard mexican dishes here. What makes this
restaurant different is that it just seems like the ingredients are
of a significantly higher quality than any competitor in the area.
The most striking aspect of the menu is the house specialties which
are mostly very unique from a different approach to chile verde to cornish
game hen with two options of sauce...recommend the garlic sauce. The
specialties are generally above $10, but the majority of standard
fare dishes are about $7-9.95. If you're in the area, make sure
to get to Kiosco.

I have frequented this establishment each time I visit Kansas. The
hibachi presentation and quality is quite high, but the big surprise
is the quality of the sushi. For anyone who is experienced and holds
standards for sushi, this is the last place you would expect. But, the
sushi has been consistently fantastic and the presentation is attractive
as well. Rolls are tight, fish is flown fresh multiple times weekly
(according to the manager) and the house specialty rolls are not to
be missed. The standard maki rolls are generally a very good portion
and the price is comparatively low at $4.95 for the standard spicy tuna/salmon.
For anything close to this quality, you'd have to drive an hour
and a half to Wichita and there is really only one place there that could
compare. Give it a try.

an excellent selection of libations to compliment your meal. You will
not be disappointed.
