| Eske's Brew Pub | Taos, NM | |

Reasonable, locally brewed beer with decent food. Very small
menu, but they have a nice green chile stew w/squash and available
w/o meat. The daily specials are also good.

| Trading Post Cafe | Ranchos de Taos, NM | |
|
Pricey but tasty. A wide menu, fresh ingredients and a bunch of
creative cooks turn out some of the better food on the highway
into Taos. It's not, cheap, however, so visit sparingly.

| Il Vicino Pizzeria | Albuquerque, NM | |
|
A good local chain (also found in Santa Fe) which brews its own
beers. Their pizza's are inexpensive, freshly cooked and
tasty. Nice thin crust. Very good salads and, for the price range,
a good selection of wines. Its sometimes pretty busy so ...

| Kellys Brewery | Albuquerque, NM | |
|
I don't know what the other reviewers have been smoking,
but I've found the food at Kelly's to be the worst I've
ever eaten in 'burque. Their sandwhiches generally consist
of a bit of meat and some fluffy white bread type roll. T ...

| Los Cuates | Albuquerque, NM | |

Big portions, interesting atmosphere (at the old place, the
new place is pretty generic), and big, tasty servings which are
great after a mtn bike in the Sandias...

| Sadie's Dining Room | Albuquerque, NM | |
|
Sadies is a bit of a drive to the outskirts of 'burque, but
for a periodic visit its well worth it. Be forwarned, however,
the salsa is hot and the potatoes on the side of most dishes are
very filling.

The menu is pretty standard ...

| El Patio De Albuquerque | Albuquerque, NM | |
|
The best NM food I've found in the area. Not only are the entrees
great but the potatoes and bean side servings are unbelievably
good and the sopapillas are light and fluffy.

The wine margaritas are also worth trying.

| Monroe's Restaurant | Albuquerque, NM | |
|
I rather non-descript place but with a solid menu and good chile.
The staff was friendly and the food tasty. Definitely worth checking
out and a good place to hit for a late saturday morning breakfast.

| Garduno's of Mexico | Albuquerque, NM | |
|
THese comments really refer to the location at the Sunport, but
I gotta say it was the WORST NM food I've had since I've
arrived in the state. The veggies were overcooked, the waitresses
overworked, and the food was generally tasteless. I ...

| Los Betos Mexican Food | Albuquerque, NM | |
|
Nothing special in a culinary sense but they're open late,
cheap, and serve Greek as well as Mexican. Never eaten inside
but the take out menu has saved my butt a number of times (perhaps
even tonight...)
