Has been in business for over 35 years. A wonderful restaurant
known for excellent value and service. Around the corner from
the Rosslyn MetroRail station. Valet parking in a lot adjacent
to the restaurant. Huge salad bar, called "The Boat." I usually
get the extraordinary prime ribs, but they also have terrific
fresh seafood and steaks. Very good separation between smoking
and non-smoking. Conducive to romantic dinners, as well as discrete
business get togethers. I haved been a customer of this restaurant
for over 25 years, and have loved every visit.

An absolutely extraordinary restaurant that has been operation
for just over a year. Very imaginative, varied menu and wine list.
Very cheery and efficient service. Both the Chef-Owner and the
Sous Chef are willing to create anything within reason to accommodate
a special request. However, the regular menu and daily specials
should satisfy most eaters who appreciate very fine dining,
including vegetarian dishes. Their ice cream, made on the premises,
is wonderful. Valet parking is available in an adjacent office
building (make sure the hostess gives you a $5.00 off coupon for
the parking). The Farragut West MetroRail station is around
the corner, while the Farragut North station is one block across
K Street, NW. Once you try this place, you will be a devoted fan
for both lunch and dinner.

Located in the Buchanan Mall area of Crystal City, it is a very
popular place for both lunch and dinner. You can sit at the bar
and have a drink, or at the sushi bar, at a grill table for a show,
or at a regular table. Prices are very reasonable for consistently
tasty, high quality dishes. Related to a similar restaurant
in Herndon, VA, owned by the same family. Very cheery and efficient
service. I have hosted many luncheons here, where we have sat
around a grill table and enjoyed the cooking demonstration -
most grill lunches are $6.95 or $7.95, and you get a lot of delicious
food for the money (including traditional mio soup). Lots of
variety on the menu. Full bar service. Seems to be entirely non-smoking.
Even fans of the usual cheeseburger and fires appear to love the
Edoya.

Serving 15 varieties of traditional Vietnamese beef noodle
soup, this place has been in business for over ten years (including
at a prior location). Soup is available in regular or large size.
I usually get the eye round or flank steak types, and always ask
them to cut off all the fat and no MSG. Comes with bean sprouts,
basil leaves, a slice of lemon or lime, and very hot chili peppers
- add whatever you like to the soup. I also add the Thai style red
chili sauce, which adds another dimension of flavor to an already
delicious broth. Great for children - everyone will find the
noodle soup to be very filling. Very high value for the price.
Located off of Route 50 (Arlington Blvd), next to the Lucky World
video store. Plenty of free parking. A Vietnamese employee of
mine attested to the fact that the food and decor were authentic,
as his mother owned a pho restaurant in Saigon.

Willing to accommodate special requests. A great place to bring
children. Located on the main highway (Route 17 from Phoenix),
which goes through Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon. When you get
tired of sitting in the peak summer tourist trsffic going through
Flagstaff, this is a great place to stop and take a break. Your
family will really appreciate it.

I have been here with my grown daughters for Sunday brunch and
found this place very disappointing. They can't seem to make
a good tasting Bloody Mary, nor do they seem capable of properly
cooking egg dishes. No real separation from smokers. However,
if you are a smoker and like a very raucous, noisy place, but don't
care a hoot about the quality of the food, then you might like it.

This restaurant is the Great Jewel of restaurant row in Shirlington.
Went totally non-smoking in 1992 as an experiment (many predicted
they would fail), which proved to be so successful that is has
become a permanent policy. Very casual to dressy dining. Upstairs
is conducive to romantic dinners. A standard menu of absolutely
superb dishes, with equally good daily specials, especially
fresh fish items. Excellent breads, which come from their bakery
next door, called "Best Buns." Very cheery and efficient service.
Willing to prepare variations or special dishes to suit customer
tastes. Very accommodating with young children. Thankfully
this restaurant is within walking distance of my house, and is
close to the movie house.
