I visited this bar on Friday, the 5th of January, 2001. Everyone
still seemingly partying, even this, being 4 days after the new
year. I arrived with my cousin and a few of her intimate friends,
some of which I had grown up knowing. Let me just tell you, it wasn't
the pizza we came for. Off Campus is slightly higher priced when
it comes to having a beer with the guys, or a glass of Chardonnay
with the ladies. Average cost of draft beer: USD$3.75. But, when
it all comes down to it, what price do you pay for the ultimate in
good times, good friends, and new friends. The dance floor isn't
much to speak of, but HEY!, who comes to dance, right? That's what
clubs are for, and haven't we all been to "the Metro" in Riverside
at least once in our lives? If you're 35 or over, please, bypass
this happening site. 20-somethings abound here. One of the best
times of the New Year. Off Campus: Hat's off!

Let me just say, when it was previously owned by Brent and Carla
Reinke and operated as Mr. B's, it was a great alternative to fast
food semi-mogul, Artic Circle across the street, but now, since
it's changed hands, and names, service has gone down, prices
up, quality a big thumbs down. When passing east through Buhl,
keep driving the extra 19 miles to Twin Falls, it's worth the wait...
....and the hunger pains.

the food's not bad at all. It's just as greasy as you would come
to expect it to be.
Hint: Don't eat here so much you get sick of it, like I did back in
high school through the years of about 1993-1996. Treat yourself
only once in a while, remembering that you should only, really
be eating this food ONCE IN AWHILE!

personal favorite: fish tacos. I know, I know, but you don't know
if you'll like something until you try it. I work for an airline,
and, in whatever city I work in, I always know when the pilots speaking
over the radio are talking to our airline operations at the Sun
Valley/Hailey, Idaho regional airport (SUN), because they're
always requesting an order of fish tacos to await them when they
arrive into that city's airport. Much less stuffier than Gurney's,
down the street.

This restaurant has a very large clientle. Mainly because the
food is prepared well, has an excellent taste, with large portions.
Also, the owners, management, and
employees of Maxie's are very friendly, and seem like they will
do anything to please you, and keep you coming back, often.
Prices are excellent, and Maxie's offers gift certificates
as well, often treating
the purchaser to sample something from their vast menu. Maxie's
truly has the "family-owned, taste of old Sicily" feel to it,
and I will continue to frequent the establishment in the future.
I am also looking forward to visit soon-to-be-opened sister
restaurant, "Maxie's Tomatoes", located on Blue Lakes Blvd.
N., across the street from Jules Harrison Ford.

I originally gave Gertie's a three stars rating, but, it is one
of my
favorite restaurants just to go and hang out with friends and
family, so
I gave it a four star rating. Prices are excellent considering
the amount of food served, and the
pizza is good. A meal at Gerties is payed before you sit down to
eat, with a price of approx USD$5.95-6.95.
This one price includes all-you-can eat pizza, salad bar, the
daily pasta special, garlic bread, and
your choice of fountain drinks. Don't get me wrong, this is one
of my favorite restaurants, but it IS NOT the best pizza.
Quantity definately overshadows quality pizza-making here.
Yet, for making the amount of pizzas that they make in an average,
busy
night, they get snaps. Many a night have I overstuffed at Gertie's.
Pizza's include, but never are limited to:
Sauerkraut, the Idaho Special, Hot Mama, Cheeseburger, Ranch,
to name very few. They have done a wonderful job in decorating
the interior
as well as the exterior since having moved from the Twin Falls,
ID (TWF) airport approx 5 and a half years ago, and relocating
next to Latham Motors.
Again, if you're bored with the traditional pizza, and want to
eat massive amounts of food, come here. Gerties is always at its
busiest during nights and weekends.
