Not bad; there are many, many better Thai restaurants, and several
worse. If it's convenient, it's reasonably priced and it's not
bad.

| Cousins Middle Eastern & Mediterranean | Chicago, IL | |

Pretty good food. Nice decor. A little overpriced, but what isn't
in this part of town? You're paying an extra $2 per plate just for
the location. I remember quite pleasant service, too.

| J.B. Wineberries | Oak Park, IL | |

Actually, the bar's still there and still nice. The servers are
well-trained and friendly. The menu is ambitious, but the execution
doesn't always live up to the hope. This place has the annoying
habit of getting the big things right and the littl ...

| Poor Phil's Shell Bar | Oak Park, IL | |

Oh, yeah. I remember pigging out on softshell crabs and King Crab
Legs here at their sidewalk cafe area. The summer night was beautiful
and the seafood was quite good. Expensive, but a really wonderful
evening.

Always a treat. Used to eat lunch here fairly regularly. If you
can put up with the brusque Russian service, the food's well worth

these are pretty special.

| Bankok Noodle Shop | Chicago, IL | |

Just outstanding. My favorite Thai restaurant in the city. Very
interesting decor inside; very odd space for this restaurant
to be occupying in its building. Try the all-you-can-eat brunch
on the weekends.

| Linnette's Jamaican Kitchen | Chicago, IL | |

An adventure. Lots of personality, and I'm not talking about
the restaurant. Definitely not much to look at, but the food's
pretty good and the company is excellent. Don't go too late in
the evening, though; once they run out of a dish for the nig ...

| Del's Soft Frozen Lemonade | Chicago, IL | |
|
The soft frozen lemonade ain't all that; could be lots tangier,
more lemony. It's pretty good on a summer day, though, and it's
better than a Slurpee.

| Mrs. P & Me | Mount Prospect, IL | |

Comfortable old house. Must walk through bar area to get to seating.
Food's a bit overpriced but decent and reliable.
