This place meets my exacting criteria for ethnic food, i.e. when I entered the place I could hear Greek being spoken in the kitchen and they were playing Greek muzak on the box! Actually, I'm no expert on Greek cuisine, but this food is very good and reasonably priced. Seating is very limited. They do a lot of take-out business. The combo platter at $12.99 will easily feed two or even three people but order extra pita bread. less

To be honest, I was expecting canned refried beans and melted American cheese. Let's face it, East Mesa is an Apache word meaning; "nothing but WASP Yuppies" I was pleasantly surprized. The place is nice and clean, the atmosphere "tropical". The music was Caribbean. The menu was a photocopy of the one from Tia Rosa's. I later heard that it's the same owner. The kitchen staff and many of the servers spoke Spanish. That's always a comfort when entering a "Mexican" restaurant.(I stay away from the one's where you hear Swedish spoken in the kitchen!) I had the chicken mango salad. It was very good. My wife, a native Mexican, had the spinach enchiladas. They were good, too. The server was very attentive and earned her tip. I'll go back. less

The food is good. The service is good. I'm no expert on German cuisine but friends of mine that are give this place a hearty recommendation. I've eaten here only two or three times and have always enjoyed it.

This is not the cleanest looking place I've ever had a meal at, but, the food is very authentic. If you like Chinese/American as opposed to Chinese, give this place a miss.

Not outstanding, but very good! This is more of a "Chinese for Americans" restaurant. The place is very clean and the service is good. This was a favorite of my wife's when she used to work nearby.

I've never been here when the place was not near capacity full. That should tell you something. I recommend the meatloaf. They offer some "ethnic dishes" such as Mexican or Italian but their specialty is good ol' American cooking and those types of dishes seem to be their best. I was raised by my grandmother who was an Idaho farm girl. I go here when I miss that. The atmosphere is casual and the servers are chatty. Go and enjoy! less
