I finally went back after years of absence. The place was the
same, but, alas, my tastes have changed. The food was good,
but not great. I had a veal chop that appeared to have been
sliced from a larger rack, and then either microwaved or dippe ...

I'm going to try this place just because of Han's rant above.
I happen to love blackened steak, whether blackened in a pan
or over an open flame. Besides, what kind of person would
order a Filet Mignon well done (or even medium well)?
Black on th ...

| Hobee's | Palo Alto, CA | |

Hey, what's this about free food for wearing a Hobee's logo
ouside of California? Hobee's was in Michigan last time I
looked (like, gee, 20 years ago)? Though it may have been
owned and operated by a bunch of surfer dudes with frozen
woodies.

I agree with Eugenia. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but it
was tasteless. I like food with flavor(s).
Plus it is too expensive for what you get. Lunch for two was
$40.

| Tied House Cafe & Brewery | Mountain View, CA | |

Great beer. But they recently raised prices on the food menu.
This just doesn't cut it. The food only deserved a price
reduction.
Four stars are for the beer. 1/2 food star.
They need to get with the program here.

By far the best Seafood Restaurant in the south bay,
however, that's not really saying much. The prices are
a little high, but it's still worthwhile. I expecially
like the grilled line caught Yellowfin Tuna. You can expect
to wait if you don't ge ...

Huge portions of tasty food, quickly prepared. They
don't take reservations.
It's Vegas/70's tacky, but always jammed due to the good food. Open
late, large menu, can't miss.

| Gino's East | Chicago, IL | |

The pizza is great but the atmosphere is grungy. As in earlier
reviews, it's absolutely filthy. Then again, Uno's isn't
exactly a wafer fab clean room either.

| Giordano's | Chicago, IL | |

They have no personal size pizza, at least at dinner. I was in
town and ordered a small - had to throw out half of it.
This was after waiting in the bar for 15 minutes for a table
when the place was half empty, then waiting 20 minutes to order, ...

Way overpriced. $28 for a steak that comes with NOTHING (HOLY
COW!). $4.95 for a side of steamed broccoli. I don't get it.
I give one extra star for the sports memorabilia and the bar.
Service basically stunk - waiter didn't read the specials t ...
