The Box Lunch is under $10 and includes a variety of salads and condiments as well as your choice of combinations of Teriyaki, Sashimi, Tempura et al.. The sushi is truly as good as any I've eaten anywhere, including japan. I'm especially keen on their treatment of eel (unagi), both as sushi and donburi. A truly pleasant place with the best japanese fare in the bay area! less

The gorgeous bayview is not the only aspect of this fine restaurants' ambience. We were seated at lunch in the middle of the place but still experienced the food and view. It was sufficiently wonderful as to provide a distraction to the point of our meeting. That's really good. While not a seafood maven, I was taken by the view. I had a wonderful seafood "sandwich" composed of salmon, scallops, shrimp, crab and sole as the top. It was perfectly engulfed in a light cream sauce and the best seafood dish I've ever had. less

Very pleasant, very clean and well lit. I've only had lunch there but will definitely be back. The Chicken teriyaki and Tempura was only $4.95 and was oishi (delicious)! It included the whole "box lunch" with soup, salad (dressing was on the side, a plus), rice, pickled cucumber, a non-greasy array of Vegetable and Shrimp Tempura w/ sauce and a wonderfully not-too-sweet chicken Teriyaki, plus tea. I would have been comfortable paying twice that much. I also ordered unagi and amma ebbe sushi. Both were fresh and oishi and came with plenty of wasabe and gari. Highly reccomended. I would give it 5 stars were I reviewing it as a lunch only spot. less

There were rice and beans with a salad, and some mushrooms I want to know the recipe for, all included for $7 or 8. less

I got a choice of Beef, Boneless Chicken or pulled Pork with a cornbread muffin, Garlicky Mashed potatoes smothered in mushrooms and a squash/red bell pepper mix. It was all very good! The Pork was fall-apart tender with a perfect sauce; the potatoes were passionate in their garlic content and the squash was al dente. The service was small-town doting and genuine. Highly recommended. less

About $6 ala carte. Most dishes run around $8-12. less

Excellent Burrito! Free Chips with a buffet choice of jalapenos and salsa. Very simple but clean surroundings. Much better than the Luna Loca which charges twice as much.

Simple interior but very pleasant redwood deck for al fresco dining. The fare is simple and straightforward an excellent. They do something with their rice and beans I really like. I never fail to eat here when I'm in the area.
