| Tobies Restaurant | Hinckley, MN | |

They've renovated the inside of the restaurant, made it more
fancy. I prefer the "old" look, but that's cause I'm a curmudgeon..
Gotta love the cinnamon rolls, but I'm not sure their food can
compete with the massive buffet just up the street.

| Lacucaracha Mexican Restaurant | St. Paul, MN | |

Their menu, service, ambience and style all need updating. The
food needs to be fresher and lighter. Although they are starting
to change, they really need to go further.

| Dakota Bar and Grill | Saint Paul, MN | |
|
A classic institution, with consistently high quality jazz
music and a very inviting atmosphere. Prices are upscale. Relaxing
and quite enjoyable.

| W. A. Frost and Company, Inc. | Saint Paul, MN | |
|
Yes, the atmosphere is quite enjoyable. My entree was underwhelming,
and I felt the service could be better. My friends swear by the
place, however.

| Cossetta Italian Market & Pizzeria | Saint Paul, MN | |
|
I really enjoy the Chicken Marsala. The environment is busy,
warm and fun. The pizza is also yummy, if you like it greasy. Parking
can be a challenge, but it's worth it. Check out all the great photos
on the walls!

| Khan's Mongolian Barbeque | Saint Paul, MN | |
|
It's a pretty standard mongolian barbeque place. I thought it
was overpriced for the service and ambience. The wait staff was
helpful when you could find one.

| Buca | Saint Paul, MN | |
|
I don't get this place. Yes, the portions are gargantuan, but
to me, they lacked any subtlety of taste. I thought the marinara
sauce was bland and too sweet.

| Taste of Thailand | Saint Paul, MN | |
|
DO NOT PASS UP TASTE OF THAILAND!
The food is delectable - subtle and deeeelicious! The wait can
be pretty dang long, so go on off hours and enjoy a more meager crowd.

| Hoa Bien | Saint Paul, MN | |
|
This is a good restaurant. Don't let the neighborhood intimidate
you. The decor of the place could be changed (it looks like it used
to be a franchise fast food restaurant or something), but man
oh man! that pho(soup)!

| Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que | Saint Paul, MN | |
|
Dave's wins, hands down. The Daves on west seventh is nice(for
customers) because it's not as busy as some of the others. The
food is still fantastic, though!
