I believe the recipe( very hard to obtain) was originally a Mediterran style chili. The five way is my favorite. Pasta covered with the chili, beans, chopped onions, and topped with grated cheese. When I am in Cincinnati I always find Skyline. There is even a Skyline in Clearwater Florida now and when in Florida I always make a trip to Clearwater. Also many Grocery outlets carry the Chili in the frozen food section( Kash and Karry). Kids usually go for the Coney Island chili dogs topped with grated cheese. many Chili parlors in Cincinnati but Skyline still the king of the 5-way less

Well Gold Star is certainly a fine example of Cincinnati style chili. As most have stated it's not Skyline, but Gold Star is the second best chili in town, they make a mean 5-way, with a little more bite than Skyline. I have been know to sit down to three 5-ways when in Cincinnati knowing it may be sometime until my next authenic Cincinnati Chili, and Gold Star always always does the trick for me. Don't spend all day looking for Skyline , Gold Star is quite satisfying. less

There are no public restrooms that I could find, and on my search for relief I walked behind the freeze......... and OH my think someone needs to clean this nasty mess up. All in all I will return to this landmark for the burger, after all I can overlook alot if the burger has the right grease to bun ratio.
