Although this restaurant is very pricey, it has some of the best seafood I had.
The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was great.
I had the seven seas platter and it had so many of my favorites I couldn't figure out what to have first.

This is a buffet restaurant or a steak house. The buffet is very large and if you like buffet food it's very good. The steaks are also very good.
I would say the reason to go to Donelleys steak house is for the atmosphere. The servers all wear wild west costumes complete with side arms. This restaurant is located right next to Donelleys Wild West Town. You can look at the Wild West musium or go on a train ride. Have a seat in an old Salloon, or pan for gold. Pony rides and a lot of neat little shops are all at this one fun place.
Don't just go for dinner go for the day!!!!

This is traditional German food. Everything is very rich, and filling.
The service is very good, and the atmosphere is very German. You can bring the whole family here.

This is a fun old fashioned ice cream parlor. You can carry your cone out or have a sundae at a table.
In the summer this is a busy hopping place. You will have to wait but the ice cream is worth it.
You're only problem here is tring to figure out what to have.

This is the busiest restaurant in Lake Geneva. The food is pretty good.

This chain restaurant is best known for it's hotdogs. It does have fantastic hotdogs. For a while I was stopping at least once a week. The atmosphere is one of a fast food restaurant but the quality is very good. Kid friendy. I also recomend the cheese fries.

This chain restauant has surprisingly good food. There is a wide verity on the menu and most offer specials as well.
Of course you have to leave room for dessert. They have some of the best pies around and they also have almost every pie you can think of.

This is one of my favorit places. They do have items other then steaks, however this is a steakhouse. The steaks here are very good. Be sure to have a baked potatoe with your steak. When I was younger, my family had brunch here every Sunday. Every Sunday I would have the German pancake with lemon and powder sugar. They now have restaurants located in several areas, includeing Highland Park and Crystal Lake. I bring my family here for Sunday brunch as much as I can. As well as the german pancakes, they make awsome apple pancakes. Most of the tim there is a wait to be seated, but the wait is well worthit. Very child friendly.

Located in the McHenry Train Station, this Mexican restaurant offers vey good mexican food. The atmosphere is OK but the fiid is the real reason to go. Not to mention they serve really good margaritas! Kid friendly.

Thsi restaurant is located in the old city jail. The cells are still there and you can go in them. The food is pretter good, however , I recommend the apatizers are excellent. The service is good and is child friendly.

This is a childs dream come true for a restaurant. With animated animals everywhere, fish tanks, and even thounderstorms. This is a noisey , fun place to be. Suprizingly the food is excellent. However is is a bit pricey but worth it for all the fun.
