Freebird's World Burrito Goleta, CA
Once the King of burrito's in Isla Vista, it has since gone down hill. They tried to go into other items and even offered ice cream. Should have stuck to the burrito. Still, it is a good burrito, healthy in size, and at a good price.
Ming Dynasty Goleta, CA
My favorite Chinese place in Goleta, they have a great Kung Pao Chicken. Also a good lunch buffet. All very reasonably priced and all as good Chinese food that you will find.
Wine Cask Santa Barbara, CA
Food is very good. Atmosphere is above average. There is outside dining. A popular spot in Santa Barbara
Blenders In the Grass Goleta, CA
Among the better smoothies I've ever had. Much better than Jamba Juice and none of the Corporate feel. There are about six of these stores around Santa Barbara. Highly recommended for a breakfast or lunch.
Cantina Goleta, CA
A UCSB student hang out, this place has been around for over 10 years. That's saying something in a town where most of the restaurants only last about 1 year. Food is good, especially for the price. Happy hour usually packs a crowd.
Good Earth Restaurant Goleta, CA
A healthier choice for dining, the food here is outstanding, whether you are looking for healthy or not. My only complaint with them is the layout and menus remind me too much of a Carrow's food chain. The food though, will erase this thought.
Palazzio Trattoria Italiana Santa Barbara, CA
Atmosphere is usually loud and fun. Pasta is average at best, but you get a lot for your money. Chianti is selve serve on the honor system. Great little garlic dough balls fresh out of the oven.
Coast Village Grill Santa Barbara, CA
New management has upgraded the food. Lunch is tasty and reasonably priced. Some very good entrees. Nice atmosphere with some outside seating. Lounge/Bar often has entertainment that is very good.
Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel Santa Barbara, CA
Outstanding food. Very elegant and dressier attire required (tie not necessary, but recommended). Sunday brunch is the best in town, but a little pricey. Great for a special occasion.
Enterprise Fish Company Santa Barbara, CA
Seafood has with some steak entrees. Food is very good and the grill/kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant and viewable from all the tables. Great atmosphere and motif. A fun place on a Thursday-Saturday night.
Citronelle Santa Barbara, CA
Food is very good. Chef/Owner is Michel Richard and his touch can be seen. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the Santa Barbara Inn and the view is spectacular of the ocean. A very good place for special occasion.
Chad's Santa Barbara, CA
Chad was the original chef of the more popular Palace restaaurant. The Palace, however, has lost a little in the food department over the years. This restaurant features the same cajun themed entrees that are tastier and are more affordabley priced. It has a jumpin' happy hour and a better setting for a romantice evening.
The Palace Grill Santa Barbara, CA
Once very good food, it has slipped a little of the years. Chad's (Chad was actually the original Chef at The Palace)restaurant around the corner has the same cajun themed entrees, but much tastier and more affordably priced. Still, this is one of the more popular places in town and has a great atmosphere.
Ca Dario Santa Barbara, CA
This is my favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara. There truly is not one dish on the entire menu that is not outstanding. Dario does not cater to the tourist, as his local following is enough to keep the restaurant packed every night of the week.
Santa Barbara Brewing Company & Restaurant Santa Barbara, CA
Good bar/restaurant, especially for sports fans. Many TV's with latest events on. Food, which is sandwiches, burgers, salads for lunch and chicken, pasta and steak for dinner, is above average.
Joe Jost's Long Beach, CA
A Long Beach tradition, this is a place you go to for atmosphere as much as anything else. It has been a place where families have gone since the early 1900's (est. 1924) to have a beer, a Joe Jost's Special Sandwich, and talk shop with other friends and families (the place is packed Easter Sunday). My Grandfather went here, my Father went here, I go here, and my son will get a taste of this place when he is born!
Elephant Bar & Restaurant Goleta, CA
Food is ok, reasonably priced. It has a little of that chain feeling (as it is one) and the food tastes like it too. Not that that is bad, as you won't get anything that tastes terrible, but then again, you don't get anything that tastes fantastic. Atmosphere is ok, the bar gets some good activity during happy hour.
Presto Pasta Goleta, CA
I did not enjoy my meal here at all. I have gone there once, but have not returned because the pasta was terrible. Maybe I caught them on a bad night, but if I try a place for the first time and don't like it at all, there are too many restaurants in Santa Barbara/Goleta that I would like to try before I give them a second chance. Fast or not, I don't eat bad food.
Natural Cafe Inc II Goleta, CA
This health food tastes great. I am not a health nut, so I don't eat here because the food is good for you. I eat here because the food is tastey, and the bonus is that it is good for you!
Hamburger Habit Goleta, CA
Great burger joint that makes the above average fast food harmburger (has that grilled flavor that I like) plus chicken sandwiches, albacore sandwiches and hot dogs that are very good. If you are looking for something quick and tastey, this is a good place.
