| Sei Sho Japanese Restaurant | Fremont, CA | |
|
I heard that they lost their great chef. We went recently and it
certainly was not as good as it was before.

| Ristorante Il Porcino | Fremont, CA | |
|
A small, cozy restaurant (~12 tables) with excellent service
and a varied menu of entrees all in the $10-$15 range. Wine was
very inexpensive -- I did not see a bottle on the list that cost
more than $40 and the average bottle was closer to the low $20 range.
The specials were all of excellent quality and had very large
portions. We will be back.

| China Chili Restaurant | Fremont, CA | |
|
If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, you should go someplace
else. China Chili's food is to real Chinese food as Tex-Mex is
to Mexican food -- Americanized and risk-free. When we're getting
Chinese food for large groups or when kids are around this is where
we go because we'll get the fewest complaints.
The restaurant's atmosphere is a bit dated and the service is decent for how busy the place regularly is. I think of this restaurant as a good place for take out, but if I want to entertain someone I look elsewhere. |

| Vincenza | Fremont, CA | |
|
Vincenza is located in a strip mall and looks it. The restaurant
is populated with tables and booths that would look at home in
a Denny's or a Pizza Hut. This belies the quality & range of food
which is excellent for the money. They do take out & delivery of
all their food, not just the pizza. One of their pasta entrees
for take out is large enough to satisfy two people for dinner.
