| Hot N'Now | Benton Harbor, MI | |
|
I used eat lunch at Hot N' Now on a regular basis because it was convenient.
Typical fast food. I always thought their frys were better than
McDonalds'. No bad experiences to report.

| Office Bar & Grill | Hooper, NE | |
|
The Office is an awesome restaraunt!!! Good Nebraska steaks,
friendly staff, and pleasant atmosphere. You'll find a lot of
locals here; but they treat the newbies just as good. This is worth
a 30-45 minute drive. Great place for a family dinner, family
reunion, or a date. I'd call in advance for a large gathering tho'.
We had a party of at least 20 and they seated us all together in an
upper level.

| W G Shuckers Seafood | Savannah, GA | |
|
Located on the tourist strip in Savannah, River Street, this
restaraunt offers a good selection of sea food. I at my first raw
oyster here, followed by several beers and a great low country
boil meal. This restaraunt might satisfy your appetite if you
are on River St. and looking for a good time and good food.

| Nacho Mama's | Augusta, GA | |
|
Perhaps not the most authentic mexican food, but still very good.
The self serve environment (not buffet style) helps keep overhead
and prices down. The food is fresh, not frozen and micro-waved,
which makes this a more appealing option than some of the Washington
Road franchises. The atmosphere is laid back and casual.

| Villa Europa | Augusta, GA | |
|
The Villa Europa has a great selection of German foods. This is
a well established restaurant that has been operating locally
with a good reputation. I've been here for lunch and early dinner
to avoid the rush hour crowds. The service can be a little slow
sometimes, but worth the wait. The atmosphere is cozy and casual.

||
| Zaxbys | Augusta, GA | |
|
Zaxby's...REAL chiken. Probably the best "drive-thru" chicken
in town, although the wait is long. The platters are served w/
cole slaw and some awsome Texas style garlic bread. The grilled
chicken salad is also great for a light meal. If you're looking
for fast food, call about 20 minutes in advance to reduce the wait
time.

| California Dreaming | Augusta, GA | |
|
Swanky. This restaurant/hotel is beautiful. The wait staff
is extremely professional and the atmosphere is somewhat elegant.
The food is so/so for the price. I've been there a few times for
the Sunday morning brunch buffet and it is an awsome spread.

||
| Le Cafe' Du Teau | Augusta, GA | |
|
The food is pricey, but cooked to culinary perfection. The atmosphere
is warm/cozy. There is often live entertainment, jazz bands,
which provide enough noise to allow for a semi-private conversation.
This is not a restaurant I typically frequent, due to price but,
on special occasions, it is a great place to dine.

| U B's German Cuisine | Augusta, GA | |
|
This restarant is located in a strip-shopping plaza. It is rather
small and the atmosphere leaves something to be desired..it
did when I went a few years ago anyway. However, the German food
is quite authentic. I really enjoyed learning about differnt
foods listed on the menu and these folks know how to cook it too.
I've heard they do takeout, which would be a great alternative
to the standard take out options.

| Mickey's Pub | Saint Joseph, MI | |
|
My Dad's favorite hang out. Mickey's is a local bar w/ local atmosphere.
The restaurant offers a limited menu, much like a bar menu. This
is a place you go to for great company, not food. The regulars will
be at the bar and ventilation is poor.
|
||
| Bill's Tap & Restaurant | Baroda, MI | |
|
A local establishment that has maintained a strong reputation
throughout the years. Standard bar menu w/ standard prices and
good service. This is a great place to visit if its convenient
and you're hungery. I wouldn't go out of my way to check it out tho'.
|
||
| Fireside Inn | Stevensville, MI | |
|
This place has something for everyone at a decent price. The food
is fresh, cook to order, and the prices are acceptable. The restaurant
is generally under good management and service/product vs price
are within acceptable ranges. There is a hotel behind the restaraunt,
making it convenient for the breakfast crowd. Breakfast is one
of the best meals.

||
| Mark III Restaurant & Lounge | Saint Joseph, MI | |
|
The Bomb. You gotta check out the "Bomb" if you go to the Mark. This
is a great local restaurant that offers both good food and good
company. Dining is cozy and comfortable. Food is of course, Mexican.
Great drinks, great food, great fun. I'd stand in line to eat here
:)

| Schu's Grill & Bar | Saint Joseph, MI | |
|
This is an awsome lunch spot. They overlook the lake M. w/ patio
seating and indoors seating w/ binoculars. The food is standard
fare. Although, the potatoe soup and ceaser salad is my favorite.
The atmosphere is friendly and casual, the wait staff is pleasant,
and the prices are reasonable.

||
| Stooges Restaurant | Saint Joseph, MI | |
|
This restaraunt has a local reputation for its bar area. Formerly
known as Timbers, the building is split between bar and restraunt.
The menu is standard bar fare and service is acceptable. I think
the dining experience is secondary to the bar atmosphere here.
If you are in town an are looking for breakfast..its great. I wouldn't
plan on a fancy dinner here tho'.
