GRREEAATTTT! The food was awsome. If you have a big appetite and
want some meat, this is the place. The 2 lb. T-bone was cooked to
my liking and was very tasteful. Wife unit had the tenderloin
which just melted in her mouth. If you have a small appetite, be
prepared to take a baggy home. You can also purchase an extra plate
for your spouse or significant other and share one meal.
Be prepared to pay though, with appetizers, dinner, dessert and drinks, probably around $100.00. Ask to be seated upstairs for the view of the city and mountains. Highly suggested to make reservations. |

Hard to say what is good. Everything from the Chile Rellanos to
Carne Adovada for dinner. This restaurant has a great family
atmoshphere that you can take everyone. We often will dine our
out of town guest here during the spring and summer and specifically
ask for the patio. Nothing like sitting outside, drinking a margarita
or ice tea and talking. During the weekend they offer a brunch
that offers breakfast and lunch such as chile rellanos, omelets
to order, pastries, green chile stew, enchilladas and so on.
We make it to El Pinto at least once a month for their brunch sometimes
twice. For dinner, when I am not dieting for a bodybuilding contest,
at least twice a month on the average.

Great for get together with friends and parties, but for dining
with the one you love, try somewhere else. This is not the place.
Food is average, not bad. More for tourist coming in from the north
or back east where they don't know what mexican food is like.

The food was not worth the price I paid for my wife and I. We were
recommended this place and looking for lobster. We were disappointed.
The oysters were alright. This place must be targetted for tourist.
Stick to the fish or steak. The next time I see the guy, who was my
friend, I am going to have a heart to heart talk with him. Maybe
I will send him to a greasy spoon, then again he may like that.

Great. We were recommeded this place by our bell man at the Raddison
Hotel. Great choice. For a quiet, athentic italian dinner, this
is the place. I had the Veal Parmessan that covered my whole plate,
huge plate and my wife had the chicken scalopinie. Both were great,
one problem - to much food but again, that is their custom. If you
went away hungry, you better have yourself checked. The service
was awsome, nice, polite, great attitude and kept my tea filled.
I have eaten at many Italian restaurants and this one tops them
all. I wish they would open one here in Albuquerque, N.M.
