| Newick's Seafood Restaurant | Dover, NH | |
|
The food and prices were good. The staff was very friendly. However,
cleanliness was lacking. It wasn't very busy and the staff should
have taken some time to pickup the stuff on the floor.

| Cherrystone's | Moody, ME | |
|
Excellent service, food and atmosphere! It's casual fine dining.
The filet mignon was superb! You get a lot of food for a reasonable
price.

| Kingfish Hall | Boston, MA | |
|
Kingfish Hall does not live up to its reputation and that of owner
Todd English. The food is overpriced! I had a lobster roll that
was served with potato chips and it cost $15.95. I should say I
ordered a lobster roll, but the mayonaise was so over powering
that I couldn't tell if their was lobster meat or not. The hostess
and waitstaff were rather rude. I would not recommend Kingfish
Hall, other than to maybe have an overpriced beer just to see the
inside of the restaurant.

| Ice House Restaurant | Burlington, VT | |
|
Good food, but overpriced. The food was very well prepared, and
the presentation was good. But the waitress wasn't quite sophisticated
enough for this type of restaurant.

| Chart House Restaurant | Boston, MA | |
|
The Chart House is a superb restaurant! The atmosphere is great,
with what appear to be the original walls when the building was
built. The menu offers a large variety. The filet mignon is char
broiled to perfection. It almost melts in your mouth. They also
offer a variety of breads prior to your meal. The wiatstaff is
attentive and very friendly. The manager goes to each table to
make sure everything is alright. I would highly recommend the
Chart House. The prices are a little high, but they are well worth
it.

| Arvad's Spirits & Light Fare | Waterbury, VT | |
|
A really nice casual restaurant. They really offer three dining
experiences. You can eat in the bar area, a separate dining room,
or on the deck. The food is very good, especially the prime rib.
And they offer a huge selection of beers. The prices are extremely
reasonable, and they have a very friendly staff.

| Durgin-Park | Boston, MA | |
|
An awesome prime rib! It was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere
is great, because it is so casual, with family-style dining.
The corn bread is very good. My waitress was very nice, and insisted
on taking my payment to the cashier. I would highly recommend
Durgin Park when traveling to Boston.

| Gracie's | Stowe, VT | |
|
Gracie's is the only place to go in Stowe! It's a quaint bar that
has awesome food! You start off with fresh made bread that is out
of this world. The portions are hearty, and you're sure not to
go away hungry. A good appetizer is onion rings, but be prepared
for large portion.

| Weathervane Seafood Restaurant | Plymouth, MA | |
|
The nicest decor of all the Weathervane Restaurants that I have
visited, but that was the only nice thing. After a long wait that
included the hostess writing down the wrong call number, I was
finally seated. In the section I was seated there were several
empty tables. There was a 20 minute wait for tables, according
to the hostesses (several people were performing these duties).
I ordered the lazyman lobster, along with a shrimp cocktail.
I prefer my shrimp cocktail to be cold, but these cocktail-size
shrimp were warm. It took a half hour to prepare the lazyman lobster,
which was ridculous. Once it was served I was treated to not very
warm lobster. It was terrible. When I was served I requested my
check because I had an appointment. The waitress left the check
and never returned to see if there were any problems. I planned
to pay by credit card, but ended up leaving cash because the server
didn't return. I would not recommend the Weathervane in Plymouth
to anyone.

| Green Mountain Diner | Barre, VT | |
|
The Green Mountain Diner isn't fancy, but it has good diner food.
Good size portions that should satisfy any appetite. Excellent
milk shakes. The prices are very reasonable. Fast service.

| Mr Z's Italian Restaurant | Barre, VT | |
|
A good reastaurant that isn't only Italian food. They have great
burgers, along with pizza, breadsticks and subs. Their salads
are big and very good. They also offer take out service.
|
||
| Village Pizza | South Royalton, VT | |
|
Very good pizza, especially if you like a lot of cheese. There
is almost too much cheese. Outstanding crust made fresh daily.
The dining area is very clean. Friendly and courteous staff.
Very reasonable prices.

| Maine Diner | Wells, ME | |
|
Good food and decent portions, but very overrated. They haven't
let anyone forget they were on National television. The wait
staff is friendly. Unfortunately you feel like they want you
to get out as quickly as possible. The breakfast is a bit pricey.

||
| Wells House of Pizza | Wells, ME | |
|
The best pizza is at the Wells House Of Pizza! George and Laurie,
the owners, do an outstanding job not only with their pizzas,
but also with the subs. Excellent fries also. There is seating
and they serve beer and wine. You can also play the jukebox. They
get the food out quickly. And the pizza also tastes good cold!

| Makris Lobster & Steak House | Concord, NH | |
|
Excellent family restaurant featuring a huge menu including
steak and seafood. We received great service from our waiter,
and also the owner of the restaurant. We had a minor problem that
was immediately rectified. The portions are generous and delicious.
The onion rings had absolutely no grease. An excellent choice
for lunch or dinner.

||
| Lobster Pot | Barre, VT | |
|
Changes have been made for the better at the Lobster Pot. The food
is very good, probably a change in cooks. Excellent Prime Rib!
Good variety on the dessert menu. They have a large selection
on the salad bar, with the best salad bar baked beans around!

| Country Gourmet | Merrimack, NH | |
|
Excellent food and atmosphere. The lighting was perfect with
some nice background music. The Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection.
The Boston Haddock was fresh. The waiter, Josh, was extremely
knowledgeable about the menu items, and was very outgoing. And
the desserts were out of this world, especially the fruit pie.
This is a must eat at restaurant. It's a bit pricy, but well worth
it.

||
| Perry's Restaurant | South Burlington, VT | |
|
Excellent service and atmosphere. The menu is limited, and I
could not find a lobster dish. However the food is excellent.
I had the Top Sirloin and it was tender like Filet Mignon. The salad
bar is limited, but has enough to satisfy.

||
| Hard Rock Cafe$Restaurant | Boston, MA | |
|
I was not impressed with the Hard Rock Cafe. It's an obvious tourist
trap. The meals were overpriced, and the food quality was average.
The decor was nice, especially if you're a rock and roll fan. If
you want to see the Hard Rock Cafe, maybe stop for a drink, but I
wouldn't recommend dining there.

||
| Litchfield's Restaurant | Wells, ME | |
|
Litchfield's has to be considered one of THE best restaurants
in southern Maine. They have a great atmosphere, outstanding
food, and a terrific waitstaff. A good menu variety.
