As far as Diners go, this is the BEST on Long Island. My friends
and I have been going to this diner for 15 years and now that we all
have moved over 15 miles away, we STILL travel to eat here. They
have the all time best Greek food. Their Greek salads are better
than Greek restaurants serve. The portions are absolutely huge
and the complete dinners are beyond belief. Two people can share
one and still take a "doggie bag" home. My favorites are the burger
deluxe plates, the melt sandwiches with a side of Greek salad,
their matzo ball soup, and the Chicken Souvlaki. The owners are
the nicest guys and always welcome their guests with a smile.
Be prepared to wait to sit on the weekends during dinner hours.
The prices, quality and portions are worth the wait!

I went to this restaurant when I was in town for a wedding. My friends
and I stopped by for lunch (there were 10 of us). It took us forever
to be seated and the place was practically empty, we never got
menus, the waitress took forever to come over to us and the food
took even longer. When we got the food, the only thing that was
enjoyed was the burger. The special Shepherds Pie was ordered
by most and basically it was a bowl of mashed potatoes. Needless
to say, we were very disappointed. I don't give it and "awful"
review because the burgers weren't bad. But there needs to be
an improvement on the service.

Food is great. Atmosphere for dining is not the best, it is more
of a place to hang out and drink. The BBQ style is wonderful. I really
liked the mashed potatoes and cornbread! Very authentic. I would
recommend this place for 20-30 year olds who are out for the evening
to have fun and have an interesting meal.
