This restaurant is more than you expect. And may I reccomend the omelet.
The service is laid back rural semi-professional. They do a good job.
Food is the big draw here as it should be at meal time. My favorite by far are the omelets. They use three eggs, run them through the blender and mix in plenty of other ingredients for a whopper of an omelet. Some hashbrowns and toast round out a plate that's as big as a truck. Very good.
Food value is excellent. The portions are huge. Often more than I can eat. Sometimes they even include a free banana. All at a price that is very reasonable.
Atmoshpere is a cross between a local country resturant and a truck stop. Pleasant and comfortable.

This seems to be one of the popular local dining establishments and I have tried this resturant on several occasions. On each visit the service, food quality and value were the same.

Food was o.k. which is not bad. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all similar in that the food was o.k. but nothing noteworthy. The lack of excitement about the food is what I have consistantly found.
The value was not exceptional. The price and portion were right in line with the consistancy of the food. Average.
The atmosphere is pleasant. The dining room is quaint and country with a little bit of Charleston college town.

Service was provided by a perky student who moved with purpose and was attentive. Not the usual "just doin' this job to get through school". The wait staff did what it took to get it right. Good job.
Food was ok. When you go out to eat the emphasis is usually on the food. However I can't give them high mark on that one. I have gotten ice tea that was very good and ice tea that was average but here it was not fit to drink. Possibly because the theme is more bar than resturant. The other phenomenon I experienced was bun failure. The burger was fine. Cooked just right. But the bun was low budget and couldn't make it through the meal with out collapsing. Still tasty but not as hardy as I would like. The fries were good.

This is a good family style local resturant. It has been around for many years. The service is good. The folks here do a good job and they really try. The food is what you would expect at a family resturant. Good specials, good salads and good standard fare. Portions are o.k. but could be a little bigger. But then the price would have to go up. So what can you do? Nice local atmoshpere. Friendly and courteous people.

The several times I was here they had a very good buffet(breakfast, lunch and dinner). Food quality is very good. Portions--well it's a buffet!
The service is very fast, courteous and professional. The service here deserves special mention because it is a good example of the difference between amateur and professional wait staff. Very good.

This is a nice truck stop. If you enjoy or are atleast comfortable in a truck stop atmoshpere this one is good.

This resturant is fairly authentic for an Americanized chain.
The food is quite good. Good tortilla chips. And watch the salsa. Hot is hot. The entrees that I have tried have all been very good.
The service has always been very good. Real ethnic staff. They are certainly a credit to there culture. Very polite, hard working and professional.
The atmosphere is Mexican-American fast food. This is not a Taco Bell. This is a little bit of Mexico in America but not so much as to scare us away. Well done for fast food.

This is a nice little local watering hole. This is more of a bar than a resturant.
I can't rave about the food cause I only had a cheeseburger, but a fine cheeseburger it was.
Good service was my experience. Even with a fair size crowd. Good job!

This may well be one of the finest resturants in the area. Kind of a sleeper. Very unpretentious.
The food is always superb. Owned and operated by the owners where the chef is a chef not a cook(although he probably wouldn't admit it). The specials truly are special. Try the prime rib on Saturday night. And of course the fish on Friday. And that's not even the best part! With the dinners you get the relish tray!! What a bonus!!!
There's not enough room here to rave about the quality of the Green Lantern but let me mention that the service rivals the food. Professional, friendly, effective, good timing and did I mention professional.
This is a must visit...often.
