I grew up in this place. It is a bar/restaurant and the food is great. The Friday night special cant be beat.

This is a pathetic excuse for a restaurant... the only reason why the Pizza Company continues to prosper is because there is no other decent pizza in Dexter. Imo's Pizza was a much better establishment--too bad it had to shut down (ironically, most of the Imo's employees now work for Pizza Company). I don't understand why Dexter people flock to this decrepit place... the owner is a hypocritical felon who thrives off the business of his fellow holier-than-thou-art First Baptist Church-goers. Of course, this is a perfect place to go if you want to practice the superficial Dexter past-time: stare, compare, and consume air!
About the only good thing about this place is the homemade ice cream and the appetizers; everything else is bland. Now, if you want quality pastas and sandwiches, try Lynn's Family Restaurant. I assure you, the food will be a lot better there.

The food here is terrific! You can't beat the China Garden Restaurant. The buffet is usually always full and fresh... you can even order an endless supply of crab legs for like $5-8 extra. My only complaints about this place, which prevent me from giving the full 5 stars: 1-lack of space. They recently remodeled the place, but it is still not big enough to hold the large amounts of people on the weekends.
2-the servers are nothing to write home about. In fact, the male servers are more helpful than the female ones...
3-it's freakin' cold in there!!!
I wish they would build a branch in Dexter... I believe they've opened a smaller one in Sikeston, however.
