I am writing this review in response to the only other one I saw for this restaurant on this website. I live in burnsville and probably eat at this place once every two weeks. The atmosphere is warm, the service usually above average, and the food seldom disappoints. The only real criticism I have is that on occasion the level of spice has been above what I was expecting. You can't really go wrong with their "build your own pasta entre" sheet, which is both idiot-proof (you fill out a form on your table by choosing from various options and then hand it in to your waiter, thus removing typos and memory issues) and affordable, running around seven dollars. If you want to substitute shrimp for the chicken option I believe it is an extra two dollars. I've never had their calamari fritti before so I cannot attest to the quality of their batter, but most everything else I've had there was pretty tasty. As far as them running out of everything, that may have been a fluke occurrence. The establishment has never run out of anything on any of the 50+ times I've eaten there. Maybe it was a holiday and they were exceptionally busy? I cannot say why this happened to the other reviewer, to be fair. I would (and often do) still highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys italian cuisine in a relaxed yet respectable atmosphere that is both suitable for dates as well as for the entire family.
