| Chili Mac's 5-Way Chili | Chicago, IL | |
|
This was probably the best chili I've ever had. Before I ate at
Chili Mac's, I never knew chili would taste good with spaghetti.
It's really worth it, especially if you're a chili fan.

| Avanti's Italian Restaurant | Peoria, IL | |
|
I've only had the chance to eat at this Avanti's a handful of times,
but I think they have even better bread (if that's possible) than
the one in Normal, IL. The prices are great and it's really convenient
since there's three of them in Peoria and this one is especially
close to the Bradley University.

| Diamond Dave's Taco Company | Normal, IL | |
|
Very good service. I really like the chips and salsa that they
have. I also enjoyed the chicken fingers. The prices are great
too.

| Long John Silver's Seafood | Bloomington, IL | |
|
There's almost always a good deal going on at Long John Silver's.
You can feed the entire family for cheap. And there's always other
foods if someone doesn't like seafood. I would recommend the
chicken, onion rings, or fries.

| One World Coffee & Cargo | Peoria, IL | |
|
I really liked the atmostphere at One World. The murals on the
wall were intersting to look at and the waitstaff was friendly.
The food was unique and tasty. But the only bad part about my visits
were the long waits I had to go through. It took over an hour after
ordering to be served sometimes, and that wasn't even during
the busy hours. The wait was so long once that I had to run to an event
on the Bradley campus and arrived late. So I suggest that you clear
your schedule before eating here.

| Old Country Buffet | Normal, IL | |
|
Very good service and selection. The prices are great too. One
downside is that sometimes you might come at a time where some
of the food has been out for awhile and isn't as good as when they
first put it out. Other than that, it's a good deal.

| Hooters Restaurant | Bloomington, IL | |
|
I really enjoyed my experience eating at Hooters (and I am a female).
It was very clean and had a nice, casual atmosphere. The girls
were friendly and helpful. The 911 hot wings were really hot,
a must for the adventurous eaters. I had the grilled cheese with
fries and those were also enjoyable. Don't be scared and give
it a try.

| California Pizza Kitchen | Chicago, IL | |
|
Who knew bbq chicken would taste good on a pizza? There were a lot
of different pizzas and it was fun to try new foods. I enjoyed the
atmosphere and the fast service. Be adventurous and try something
unique and tasty!

| Three Happiness Chinese Restaurant | Chicago, IL | |
|
I've been going to Three Happiness for years with my family. Good,
genuine chinese food. It's located right inside Chinatown,
which is not exactly the cleanest environment, but it's probably
one of the cleaner restaurants there. I hardly see anybody not
oriental there, but it's probably because not a lot of Americans
really go into Chinatown.

| Kentucky Fried Chicken | Bloomington, IL | |
|
The prices were good and the food was okay. The buffet looked kind
of uninviting. Some of the food was mixed in with the other foods
and some just looked like it was sitting out too long. It wasn't
exactly sparkling clean in there either, but there's always
carry out. For the most part, the service was good, but there was
a cashier who asked personal questions, which I thought was a
bit rude and annoying. Not saying that this person could represent
the rest of the staff, but sometimes there can be a few bad ones.

||
| The Great Steak & Potato Company | Bloomington, IL | |
|
Fast, friendly service. You can even watch them cook your sandwich.
Very filling, sometimes a bit messy, but definitely worth it.
|
||
| Bakers Square Restaurant & Pies | Normal, IL | |
|
I love getting dessert from here. It's the best. If you want to
try something rich and decadent, I suggest you indulge in some
french silk pie. And you can never go wrong with the good old apple
pie.
|
||
| Pizza Hut | Normal, IL | |
|
Good prices and tasty pizza. The service is really friendly,
but sometimes the wait can be a bit longer if they're really busy.
(It's worth the wait though.)

||
| Sirloin Stockade | Normal, IL | |
|
This is a fun place to take the family and pretty good deal since
it's a buffet. There are a lot of choices and my personal favorite
is making your own ice cream sundae.

| Diving Ristorante Italiano | Bloomington, IL | |
|
I had a more pleasant visit than the previous reviewer. I've only
dined at Divino Ristorante Italiano twice. The atmosphere
was comfortable and beautiful. I agree with the previous reviewer
that the food was a bit on the bland side. I especially thought
the dinner salad was bland and the dressing was too sour. I might
return, but I think it's a bit pricy for okay food.

||
| Avanti's Italian Restaurant | Normal, IL | |
|
I'm not sure if I put the average entree price down very accurately,
but everything on Avanti's menu is pretty cheap and very tasty.
Great, fast, friendly service, very affordable, and convenient
location (near ISU campus). There's also a carry out area for
even faster service and the dine in area is open until 11 most of
the time.

| Carlos O'Kelly's Mexican Cafe | Bloomington, IL | |
|
The service was friendly and timely. The food was very good and
not expensive. The only drawback was that we found a hair in the
salsa.
|
||
| Jake's Pizza | Normal, IL | |
|
Jake's is a great place. They have friendly service and delicious
pizzas. It's also great for late night eating since they have
delivery until 3:00 AM. Definitely worth it.
|
||
| Grog's Pizza | Normal, IL | |
|
I really enjoyed the pizza from Grog's. It was fairly quick and
cheap. The service was good and I would recommend to friends.
|
||
| Ned Kelly's Steakhouse | Bloomington, IL | |
|
I've only been to Ned Kelly's twice now, but I'm planning to return.
It was friendly service and fairly quick even though I was there
at extremely busy nights. The portions are huge and definitely
worth your money.
