Artisan Paso Robles, CA
Best place in Paso Robles to eat. Don't miss it!! I have eaten there twice on two separate occassions and the food, service and atmosphere is great. 3 chocolate creme brulee is always a must for desert. They change the menu according to the season. Always fresh grown vegetables. Try the fish (Alaskan Halibut) Also very good. Service attentive and friendly.
Figlios Kansas City, MO
The food is wonderful and the prices are not exceptionally expensive. The Salmone ai Ferri is fresh and tasty. The Cannoli is great as well. I will definitely eat here again when in Kansas City
World Cafe Santa Monica, CA
It is a friendly and comfortable place to eat. I had the turkey sausage & pasta dish, while others had the rare tuna salad, rock shrimp quesadilla. We started with the pot stickers. We shared our food so we could sample a variety from the menu and found the food good. The service was friendly and attentive.
Mccormick & Schmick's Kansas City, MO
This restaurant is in the Country Club Plaza section of K.C. It is one of several restaurants which were started in Portland, OR. Nice atmosphere and great service. Everytime I go to a seafood place, I am tempted to have calamari as an appetizer. Not this time, shrimp cocktail and it was excellent. Fresh seafood each day with specials. I had yellow fin tuna sushi style which is always a want. After dinner you can walk the plaza and wear off the calories. Good choice.
Paragon Restaurant Portland, OR
Nice atmosphere. Good service. Food better than average. Fun place to spend a FAC and then dinner. Fish entrees exceptionally good.
Wildwood Restaurant & Bar Portland, OR
Excellent place to eat in the Northwest. Grilled food with a flare! Attentive and polite service. Quiet and personal atmosphere.
Anthony's Fish Grotto San Diego, CA
Calamari and Sushi style tuna starters are suggested. Anything on the menu was very good. Good views while eating. Service helpful and attentive.
Ivar's Acres of Clams Seattle, WA
The food was very good. The ambiance could be better, but necessary to accommodate the number of people. Good views of the harbor. Any item on the menu featuring Dungenss Crab is good. Calamari is always a treat!
Bico's Cafe Kearney, NE
This place has been remodeled and the decor is fun and clean. They kept the recipes from the previous restaurant, but the quality has not been up to par. They have a "Flip" Pizza that has spaghetti and sauerkraut on it. The service is friendly and attentive.
Sydney's Restaurant Kearney, NE
Every time I eat at this restaurant, I am not disappointed. Homemade pasta! Try the pepper and/or the seafood pasta. The service is good. Casual eating in the bar. Beware this is the smoking area or go to the non-smoking dining room to eat
Mancini's Char House Saint Paul, MN
Great restaurant with great service. All steaks are good, but for a change, try their walleye.
Dynasty Restaurant Saint Paul, MN
The food here is good, but has recently had new ownership. Good appetizers and good selection.
Degidio Restaurant St. Paul, MN
This is one of my favorite places to eat when visiting St. Paul. The food is tasty and there is a wide variety of Italian pasta dishes. My particular favorite is their Italian Sausage Sandwich (Hot Dago...?? Sandwich). The service is prompt and attentive. They have an American special each day for those who want something other than pasta.
Gasthaus Bavarian Hunter Stillwater, MN
This is a great place to eat. If you can catch the two festivals they have each year, you will be treated to authentic German food and entertainment. I would recommend the sausage platter for an appetizer. The food is generally good and plentiful. Eat inside or out on the deck.
Bungalow Inn Lakeland, MN
Food is just average. Prime rib served on weekends and mine was overcooked even though ordered it one degree more rare. Expect to have to wait to be seated if going on a weekend and in the summer. The service was average also. Expect to have to get the servers attention.
Green Mill Restaurants St. Paul, MN
I always try to go here when visiting St. Paul. I especially like the variety of brewed beers. Their happy hour has good deals on beer and appetizers. The service is good. Try the stuffed mushrooms and the spinach dip. The Pizza is very good.
Glockenspiel Saint Paul, MN
Not attentive service as you will find the restaurant busy. The food is worth the wait. Try the stuff cabbage rolls or the pork hocks. The wienerschnizel is dry and they do not serve gravy.
Assaggio Portland, OR
Good wine selection and a definite stop if you like vegetarian. Lots of pasta dishes and the food is good. We did not find that we had to wait and we dined on a Saturday night. The service is attentive and overall a good place to eat.
La Serre Restaurant Yachats, OR
On a recent visit to the Oregon coast, I had reason to eat here twice as there are not many places in Yachats to dine. On the first occasion, I had their fish stew which was average. I was staying at a nearby B & B, and this place was recommended. On the second visit I tried the special which was crab and found it to be very good. I believe that it is "hit or miss" depending on the cooks and the seafood available. The service is very friendly and I would recommend eating in the "Bistro" room where you will be delighted with a great guitar music on weekends.
Montgomery Inn At the Boathous Cincinnati, OH
I had the rack of ribs and they were good. I cannot go as far as to say that they are the best that I have ever eaten, but they were lean and the portion generous. After decided not to get reservations, we walked from downtown and took our chances of being seated when we arrived. My suggestion to you, forego the reservation, you will wait the same amount of time. There is a bar to wait, and the scenery is worthwhile. I would probably go back.
