| Hunan Village Restaurant | Yreka, CA | |
|
Frankly, the food was so-so and the whole experience was a real
disappointment. Rice was overcooked, sauces were bland, limited
seating, poor service and no parking. Went once and won't go back.

| Indian Creek Cafe | Happy Camp, CA | |
|
A truly amazing menu! More choices to choose from than you can
imagine. Something to suit the taste buds and interests of almost
anyone. Parking lot in front, rarely crowded, guest chef's prepare
their own specials, gold dredging and local historical artifacts
make dining an experience. Fun family place to eat.

| Purple Plum Restaurant | Yreka, CA | |
|
You can't miss this place! Bright purple art deco exterior and
just off the Central Yreka exit from I-5. Menu is kind of average,
but the food is good and the service excellent. Open 24 hours a
day, seven days a week. An excellent option for the travelling
family or just to take a snack and desert. A fun dining experience
for the whole family.

| China Dragon Restaurant | Yreka, CA | |
|
An excellent local Chinese restaurant. Good food at reasonable
prices served in tradtional Chinese atmosphere. Business Man
Lunch specials are particularly noteworthy at $4.50 including
soup, tea and fortune cookie. Conveniently located on South
Main Street just South of the Central Yreka exit from I-5 with
plenty of off street parking. I have ordered many of their menu
items and have never been disappointed. Seasonal chief's specials
are posted daily and particularly pleasing. A popular local
restaurant.

| Ming's Restaurant & Lounge | Yreka, CA | |
|
Bland Chinese food in a somewhat mediocre venue. Parking in the
rear with a dismal rear entrance. Best bet is their luncheon buffett
for $6.95 but the menu tends to be very predictable and somewhat
disappointing.

| Casa Ramos Mexican Restaurant | Yreka, CA | |
|
An above-average Mexican restaurant, offering all the traditional
dishes, most of which are beautifully presented with freshly
made, hot tortilla chips and excellent salsa, available in mild
or medium heat. The chile releƱoes were wonderful and surprisingly
spicy. Lovely, traditional indoor decor and a fun patio dining
available for warm summer evenings and private conversation.
Excellent value.

| Vic's Mongoloian Bar-B-Que | Ashland, OR | |
|
Not much to look at from outside, this unassuming place offers
some of the finest Mongolian Barbeque I've had since I left the
Middle East! Typical of these places, you create your own unique
meal from their chilled buffet line. Take a little of everything
and pile your bown high. Then make your own sauce - "The sauce is
EVERYTHING." For those who are first timers, the management
has recommended a delightful combination of sauces, oils, and
spices. Then your dinner is cooked while you watch and served
with your choice of brown or white rice (the brown is FANTASTIC!).
Large bowl at dinner is $7 and refillable drink for a dollar make
this a great bargain and a totally satisfying and filling meal.
The seating is open and close, but there are wonderful pictures
on the walls and a very family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.
A best value eatery.

| Brick Oven Pizza Pasta Pies | Provo, UT | |
|
Excellent Italian pasta, salad, and traditional dinners. Garlic
bread was delicious! A long-time college favorite and close
to BYU campus. Also a great spot for a missionary farewell dinner!
Salad/Pasta bar was huge and well stocked. Very family friendly
place to dine.

Best place to eat in town! Reasonable prices and great waitresses
make it a pleasant place for home cooked meals to order. Preferred
place for lunch by Karuk Tribe and Klamath National Forest employees.
Features mural by local high school students and crafts by local
townspeople. Located in a historic old building that used to
be the Frontier Hotel. Located at the corner of Highway 96 and
Indian Creek Road. The same building also hosts a Bar in the back.
