This place is great for the price of the food. The food is very good and the service is also as good. Weather Breakfast, Lunch or dinner. With a Casual atmosphere and nice people it’s almost like eating at home.

This is not intended to offend anyone. I think a lot people really do not know what Italian is. The Coletta family is well known in the Memphis area and people go to their restaurant just because of that fact. We went because I met one of the family members and he was a very nice man, so I said lets try it out. But in all fairness since this is an honest review, I think Coletta's has gotten away from real Italian food. What do I know about Italian food? I lived in Italy for 4 years and my wife is full-blooded Italian. So all I eat is Italian food, not because I have to because I love it.
The food to me was bland not robust, flavor is a big thing to me and true Italian food has a lot of it. The service was very slow, as I watched people come and go as we waited for our meal and I was not there during a busy time.
My wife said it was like an Italian Denny?s, for the price the food was not bad. There are many very good Italian restaurants in Memphis and I will review them soon.
