| Kincaids Bayhouse | Burlingame, CA | |

The view is spectacular from the bay on one side to the south San
Fran hills on the other
not to mention the sight of tandem landings at the airport.
The steak was excellent as was the wrapped crab appetizer.
Reservations a must! This is a very busy place.

OK food if a bit spicy. Very busy and service was rushed so errors
were made.
Not paying for premium though.

| Au Relais De La Place D'Armes | Quebec, QC | |
|
A busy place, especially in tourist season. Friendly staff and
a nice meal
with an excellent house wine in white red or rose.
No reservations but wait is short, if any.
There is a daily menu (four courses)or a la carte. Food is a mix
of French Canadian specialties and
continental. I enjoyed the meal of patie with truffles followed
by chicken in bordelaise.

| Ed's Warehouse Restaurant | Toronto, ON | |
|
The best prime rib in Toronto. It has been around forever and is
a fixture as
is it's owner ED Mirvish, a local entrepreneur and patron of the
arts.
I have heard lately that he is closing it down so if you're in town,
catch the
unique ambience and historic setting plus a great meal, while
you can.

| Quigley's | Toronto, ON | |
|
A fine pub atmosphere with good food and friendly service. It
is
ususally packed week-ends. Located in "the Beaches" area of
south-east Toronto, it has a strong group of
regulars. If it's your wish you are soon part of the group.

| Ruth's Chris Steak House | Toronto, ON | |
|
We've been to Ruth's Chris several times now which, given the
overall price of dinner including wine of about $400, says volumes.
The wine list is superb, the desserts totally decadent, and those
sizzling steaks...
In a city of good steak houses Ruth's Chris is at the top of the list.

A great British Pub type atmosphere. Good food and always packed.
Has been on the scene for at least 20 years.
