Xochimilco Restaurant Detroit, MI
This is still one of the best for Mexican. Lot's of atmosphere and room for any size party.
Fontana's Fair Haven, MI
Fontana's is gone and Vernier's is back
Macaroni Grill Farmington, MI
Sorry to say ...this place is... GONE... as in boarded up
Mama Vicki's Coney Island Macomb, MI
Third in the family. Oly been open a short time, but is always busy. Fast Friendly service, with adequate portions of good food. Coneys are the speciality, but they offer a good selection of other items.
Pete's ham Center Restaurant Warren, MI
Good place for lunch. Always have a long list of specials. Small place but don't let it fool you...It is good
Mama Vicki's Coney Island Fort Gratiot, MI
GOOOOD coneys
Waterford Courts Pub & Grill Waterford, MI
This place puts the grease in "Greasy Spoon". The menu is very limited: the placew is filthy: and they only have one person to cook and serve.
Mexico Lindo Waterford, MI
ONE of the best Mexican in the area. They have been at this spot over thirty years. That should tell the story
Dobskis Waterford, MI
This old time Pastie House is gone....Replaced by a drug store
All New Silver Lake Golf Club Waterford, MI
Being converted to Condos
Big Apple Restaurant Waterford, MI
They have moved to a new location, around the corner. The food seems better prepared and better tasting. Worth checking out. The "NEW" address is: The Big Apple 4750 Walton Blvd Waterford Mich 248.673.1259
The Big Apple Waterford, MI
An old time neighborhood place in a new location, around the corner. The food is better then before and the service improved. A good family stop with a kids menu...
Cafe Brioni & Deli Clarkston, MI
The Yuppies have landed...Right Here. A nice presentation in the decor of tis cafe with seating for about fifty, plus take out. The Soup & Salad was good but sparse. More time was taken to describe the salad ten to create it. Small portions, half a cup of soup and ice tea set me back just under $8.00 without tip.
Classic Coney Clarkston, MI
The Coney has changed hands three times now. Up until the latest management, every thing was exceptionally good and portions more ten adequate. Now the salads are half of the size they used to be, and the lettuce is like rubber. The people who are trying to run it ave NO EXPERIENCE, and it shows. Tis was my favorite place for breakfast and lunc, until te quality really it te skids.... Sorry Debby....you don't ave wat it takes.
La Pita Dearborn, MI
The only thing changed, is the address. They have moved one block South...
Mati's Deli Dearborn, MI
Hand sliced home made bread, soups and salads. In fact every thing is home-made. The sandwiches are all you could eat. The home-made soups change daily. This OLD converted gas station is a mainstay of Dearborn. You have to experience it at least once.....You'll be back. I've eaten lunch here for more years then I care to remember...
Fino's Family Dining Waterford, MI
NEAT & CLEAN family restaurant, with NO SMOKING ***PERIOD*** The food is well prepared with ample servings. The staff is friendly and efficient. They have only been open a few months but already have a long list of regulars.
Red Knapps American Grill Oxford, MI
THe decor is reminiscent of a Northern Michigan Hunting Lodge with beams in the ceiling and mounted animal heads on the walls. The menu includes pasta, sandwiches, steaks and burgers. When in the mood for a good burger, this is the place.
Al Oumara West Bloomfield, MI
This small Middle Eastern Restaurant belies its dimensions with the exrensive menu. It offers the full gamut of dishes from tabbouleh, hummus and baba ghanoush to lamb chops, kibbee marinated boneless chicken and a host of salads.
Lelli's Restaurant Auburn Hills, MI
An Italian Steakhouse with a long legacy in the area, it still serves the multi-course dinner from antipasto to desert in a traditional setting. Its good but not worth digging out the gold card.
