We're still in raptures over last Saturday night's sumptuous dinner at THE BLACK TULIP. The awesome VEAL OSCAR dish, topped with crabmeat and in a white-wine sauce, melts in the mouth, and the crabmeat appetizers drizzled in an exotic orange-sauce sent us into ecstacies. The ROAST DUCKLING ala orange sent us right-out-of-this-world...! There is ambiance and seating to please every need and taste, whether your're with a big noisy family or gathering (Then ask to be seated on the veranda, or in the front-room near the piano bar, or in third diningroom, which caters to large-groups) or a romantic couple seeking the hushed and secluded cozy corners of the second dining room, in which lighting is the most subdued and decor is most elegantly appointed. Where-ever you're seated, you'll be served with deference and care. The Black Tulip truly is certaintly a world-class resturant, and you'll enjoy a delightful dining-experience, here .

FOREMAN'S slogan is: "THE BEST STEAK IN THE COUNTY", and although that motto origionated fifty years ago at it's first little resturant located in a small barn in OLD FOREMAN COUNTY, OHIO, there's probably alot of truth, still, in that boast. FOREMAN'S of Satellite Beach, Brevard County, Florida, is serving-up flavorful, tender, and sizzling steaks which probably ARE some of the very best in this beachside area. Located in a gray-brown "barn" right on the A1A Highway across from the beach, Foreman's sports a casual family style, with rustic-interior, cozy comfortable booths, and friendly, attractive shorts-and-halter-clad servers and staff. Lunch is served from 11:30 til 2:00 MONDAY-FRIDAY, and dinner begins at 5 P.M. EVERY night. You'll be happy with anything you choose to order here at Foreman's, whether it's a choice cut of steak, the FILET STEAK sandwiches, special-hamburger platter, or succulant lobster-tail, shrimp, or fish; and don't miss Foreman's famous-stewed-tomatoes! We dined here last-night, and were again impressed with Foreman's CONSISTANT QUALITY, in a comfortable, FRIENDLY setting. Everything about Foreman's was pleasing, and we'll be going back again, soon !

ALMA'S is a long-time favorite here in Cocoa Beach. The atmosphere is that of "Old World Italy", with excellent Italian specialties and good service to match. You can't go wrong here at Alma's !

COCOANUTS of Cocoa Beach is a very popular beachside watering-hole, and you'll have fun here, hanging-out on the ocean-front deck, dancing, groovin' to the music of a live band, nibbling on COCOANUT SHRIMP and other mouth-watering treats. It's a fun-place, and a long-time favorite of locals and tourists alike.

The steaks at DURANGOS, here at Cocoa Beach, seem to be fresh and of good quality, as volume is high, and quality control is closely watched. It's a meat n' potatoes kind of place, in a pleasantly rustic atmosphere. Try the tender well-seasoned ribs....or your favorite cut of steak....;and all are cheerfully served, and at reasonable prices.

THE MANGO TREE is an unexpected touch-of-class and sophistication, nestled among the driftwoody old beach-cottages, here in this laid-back casual surf-side resort of Cocoa Beach. Everything here is perfection. Be sure to make reservations, dress-nice....and plan to spend an unhurried evening in supurbly congenial surroundings. You love it here at the Mango Tree, and will want to return as often as your budget allows.

Dress-Well, and plan to spend an unhurried romantic-evening here at The Black Tulip in the heart of Cocoa Village.

CAFE MARGAUX is one of the most chic-chic dining-rooms in the heart of trendy Cocoa Village; It's a fashionable little cafe', in a fashionable area, and the emphasis may be more on the decor than on the cooking....but it's lovely here, and you'll enjoy the dining-experience, at least once. Perhaps plan to drop in for a decadant-desert and a coffee, while shopping some afternoon, just to get a feel for the place, and then come back another time for dinner...

In this beautiful UPSCALE setting of the RADDISON CONVENTION CENTER, it seems that one could expect something better from the kitchen. I have dined in the Raddison Resturant Dining Room on several occasions, and have attended banquets, balls, and breakfasts, in the convention center ballroom, here. Sadly, the quality of the food served has always been disappointingly low, and cheerful-grumbling and complaints were often heard. Perhaps the empahasis is so much upon gracious hospitality, at this enormous convention-center, that the importance of quality food-service from the kitchen has been overlooked. Rooms here are beautiful, the pool-bar is lovely, and the elegant ambiance here is unexcelled in this small town of Cape Canaveral; but for a really good meal, you may wish to consider other options..

BERNARD'S SURF: This FABULOUSLY FRIENDLY Cocoa Beach favorite, continues to offer some of the most DELIGHTFUL DINING, here in this COCOA BEACH SURFSIDE RESORT area. CONSISTANCY is the key, here at this fabulously friendly famous seaside resturant, and Bernard's has indeed become our very favorite choice, in this area. We dined, last night, at BERNARD'S, and were immediately impressed by the warm and relaxed sincerely-friendly welcome received. From the moment we stepped in the door, we knew that we were in congenial surroundings. BERNARD'S cheerfully-pleasant and helpful hostess, Lou, patiently, cheerfully, and considerately advised us in deciding on the best seating for our group, and the waitstaff greeted us as if we had been their invited friends-and-family guests. The waitstaff here are carefully-trained professional-quality servers, and every moment of our dining-experience here was made DELIGHTFUL, by this fortunate combination of FRIENDLY CONSISTANT QUALITY. We began with Bernard's famous Ceasar Salad, dramatically prepared table-side, and a perfectly prepared bubbling-hot crusty-topped French Onion Soup...followed by platters of Bernard's supurbly prepared sauteed SEAFOOD FEAST FOR TWO, at just under fifty dollars, and BLUE-CHEESE ENCRUSTED FILET MIGNON, fairly priced at $21.95, and the succulently flavorful BLUECRAB IMPERIAL, at just under twenty dollars, etc. EVERY dish served to us from among Bernard's carefully chosen elegant menu-selections was deliciously prepared, and the evening seemed to have been a study-in-perfection. For the upcoming Holiday Party Season, you may wish to consider booking space in Bernard's spacious second dining room, and the telephone number to call for this would be: (321) 783-2401 , asking to speak with Bernard's graciously efficient manager, Mr. William Krail. If you are entertaining a large group, or a family-style group, consider the seating at these longer tables of Bernard's effectively-airconditioned spacious back-room; and for more a more intimately romantic dining experience, you may prefer to ask for seating in the more quiet front rooms, closer to Hostess-Lou's reception desk and Bernard's cozy-corner lounge. Whenever you come, and whatever your menu selection of that evening, we're confident that you'll always find the same CONSISTANT QUALITY and fabulously friendly service, here at Cocoa Beach's famous Bernard's Surf. We were delighted, and know that you will be, too.

Sit outside on the patio and catch the warm sea-breezes as you enjoy a creatively "built" burrito home-made of your choice of fresh quality ingredients. This truly is a new twist on the Mexican Burrito, blending a Caribbean ISLANDS flavor with the traditional wrapped south-of-the-border tortilla-sandwich. LAFITTE'S New Orleans resturant and DISCO/lounge, located in the ELEGANT upscale Melbourne Airport RIALTO HILTON, is one of Melbourne's hottest locations, serving excellent Cajun food in it's beautiful resturant, and attracting some of the most "beautiful people" to it's late-night CLUB, with a rockin' disco sound. Everything is supurb, here, and you'll find yourself in good company here at the hub of Melbourne's "disco-club" excitement and entertainment, if you come after nine.

CHEZ YANNICK is among the best of the best. Everything here is WORLD CLASS, and this is a DINING-EXPERIENCE that you will not want to miss. Here, you will dine in the company of Vero Beach's "most beautiful people" , and you will experience deference and elegance in the European Manner. What more can one say about Chez Yannick, after one has said that, by European Standards, Chez Yannick in Vero Beach offers some of the very best.

MR MANATEE'S, on the old Route Sixty Causeway Road which once connected Vero Beach with the mainland, is one of the fun-est places you-ll find in the area; Be sure to sit out on the deck, with the view of all the boats docked here on the water, and order from a choice of fresh seafood, and stacked sandwiches. You can't go wrong at the popular Mr. Manatee's !

BERNARD'S SURF is a tradition in this pioneering SPACECOAST town of COCOA BEACH. BERNARD founded this now beloved seafood-mecca in the early sixties, when the SPACE-RACE was in it's infancy, and Owner Bernard hosted, wined and dined, and catered-to tired business-men at their lunchtime meetings, government-contractors, Patrick Airforce Base secretaries, Astronauts and newsmen....., locals and tourists. Bernard's has a rich history, and it's walls echo with the voices of a by-gone age. The menu's may not be as outrageously extensive as they once were, and the place may be looking a little less glamorous than it once did.....but the spirit of Bernard's warm hospitality lingers-on...and you will be happy that you've come here, to this friendly and famous Bernard's Surf on Atlantic Ave. (A1A) at Cocoa Beach.

PANE E VINO, or bread and wine, is one of the best in this MELBOURNE AREA. It's located at THE OAKS upscale shopping mall, which is just one street north of the Melbourne Square Mall, and houses the OAKS THEATRE, on the other end of the strip. Plan to enjoy an excellent early dinner at the Pane e Vino, and then head over to the movies, for a perfect evening's entertainment. You'll be happy with anything that you order here....;it's the "real-thing".
