Has the same great food as all the Famous Dave's, but a more fun atmosphere

| Crabshack At Chimney Creek | Tybee Island, GA | |
|
My aunt and I ate here on a recent visit to Savannah. Very fresh seafood
which I don't get often!! Fun atmosphere, the patio area looked
great, unfortunately it was raining the day we visited. The first server
we spoke too seemed crabby, we felt she might be upset that we moved to
another girls station. We just wanted a better view. The deviled crab
was outstanding as was the coleslaw. They have much to see outside with
live baby alligators, many resident cats and birds and a gift shop next
to the restaurant. My only complaint was that the bathroom had a strong
odor of old urine. I would eat there again if I ever get back to Savannah.

| Pirate's House Restaurant | Savannah, GA | |
|
We had lunch there on a recent trip to Savannah. The lunch buffet was
good and kept hot and restocked. Typical southern buffet with fried
chicken, greens, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes. cornbread and
biscuits were brought to our table. The seafood augratin was new to
me and very good!! The building is very historic ( the oldest standing
in Savannah) and had many intersting things to look at although we saw
no ghosts or odd sites. I would reccomend it....no lines outside, but
a bit of one at the host station with a huffy server trying to get past
the waiting customers. The other staff was all very curteous.

| O'charley's | Conyers, GA | |
|
We stayed at the Hampton Inn nearby and the desk clerk reccommended
O'Charleys. The place was packed with quite a waiting list. We
chose to sit at the bar and not wait. It was a good choice as the bartender
was an excellent server. The food was quite good, salad fresh. The coconut
shrimp was very tasty and you choose your side (large selection) we
chose to skip desert but they have a varied choice of it as well.

| Hueys On the River | Savannah, GA | |
|
We had a wonderful dinner here. seafood with a cajun flair. choice of
side items. I was a bit disappointed with the sweet potato fries because
to me they tasted just like regular seasoned fries with little to no
sweet potato flavor. Excellent waiter, good wine list and great location
and view of the river. Excellent Pecan pie!! Would definitely eat there
again if I am in Savannah.

| Barn Restaurant | Huron, SD | |
|
A long time favorite of many is on it's way to being torn down.
They are building a new Walmart in this location. If you want to
try the Barn you better hurry

| Fryn' Pan Family Restaurant | Sioux Falls, SD | |
|
I recently revisited this restaurant and this time the service
was great, the food was good and the prices were reasonable. I
think my first visit was just poor timing, around 2 am and the service
was terrible. SO maybe time of day means everything.

| Whataburger | Tucson, AZ | |
|
I've never seen Whataburger in any other place. I have great
memories of eating there as a child with my grandma. Not sure why
it's listed as a dessert restaurant, but they have great
burgers!

restaurant in town
|
||
| Mac Gregor's Restaurant | Watertown, SD | |
|
Excellent food and service, but the prices are a little high for
the area. A place to go for a special occasion or to treat yourself.

| Culvers | Aberdeen, SD | |
|
The food is consistently good and the frozen custard is wonderful
with many different flavors. Service is pretty quick and friendly
as well

||
| Hong Kong | Aberdeen, SD | |
|
This is a small but really exceptional buffet restaurant. You
can order ala carte off the menu, but they usually have whatever
you might want on the buffet already. The staff is very attentive
and keep the food supplied and hot.
|
||
| Perkins | Aberdeen, SD | |
|
Perkins is always consistent.....you know what you will get
and there are no surprises. The service here is always good and
they are always busy so at times there can be a wait.
|
||
| Leo's Good Food | Redfield, SD | |
|
Still the best dining choice in Redfield. There's something
for everyone on the menu, they have nightly specials, but arrive
early cause they tend to run out. The best homemade soups and pies
around!!!

|
||
| Medicine Rock Cafe | Gettysburg, SD | |

They have a pretty good, typical South Dakota buffet and salad
bar. Not a lot of choice in this small town, but The Medicine Rock
is always busy. Service is friendly.
