This is one of my favourite vietnamese resturants in Calgary. The fact that you need to make reservations to be able to get a seat every day is indication that I am not alone. <br> Incidentaly, the beef vermacilli dish is one I order frequently and my experience has not been the same. Maybe the originator of this review thread was unlucky not to be served a good quality dish. Sorry you didn't get the quality that I have come to experience at Oriental Pheonix.

When I want great sushi and don't have a lot of money to spend, this is where I go. <br> The location area a drive from downtown and is a little grim. Not ideal for a classy date. <br> But if you want great quality fish, in large thick pieces. This is the place to go. This is where me and the guys go frequently.

The location is good for downtown and is nice for a date. <br> The fish is excellent quality and the size is about average. The price is slightly above average for the food. <br> They are always busy and best to make a reservation. I go to Sushi Hiro when it's cold and I don't want to walk very far, otherwise I recommend Sakana Grill (China Town) or Sumo (Eau Claire). <br> If you like sushi, it's a nice place to go but you may feel disapointed in the value for money.
