| Mancino's Pizza & Grinders | Lexington, KY | |
|
Okay, the grinders are really worth driving across town for,
but they cause me to wonder how much damage I'm doing to my
cardiovascular system, because I enjoy them way too much! They
really aren't anything you should enjoy too often, because
they're far too tasty, and we all know that what tastes that
good is never good for you! Lol... anyway, definately a spot to
experience and enjoy.

| Mansion At Griffin Gate | Lexington, KY | |
|
Not a setting for the faint of heart. This is the place for an anniversary
or proposal, definately. Fine dining is definately an accurate
description for this place, and the food really is wonderful,
if not somewhat pricey. I'd definately recommend it for
the atmosphere alone.

| Marikka Restaurant & Bar | Lexington, KY | |
|
Okay, this is definately a pub and has the atmosphere of a quaint
little pub, so expect the type of food you get at a pub. The atmosphere
really is great, and the staff does a good job of complimenting
that atmosphere with good, hearty food. Worth a visit.

| Marikka's Restaurant | Lexington, KY | |
|
Not nearly the place as the other Marikka's is, but the menu
is pretty much the same. If you're looking for something
to drink, though, this is your place... they, quite litterally,
carry every beer you can imagine. Personally, I'd rather
go to the one on Southland.

| Mcdonalds | Lexington, KY | |
|
Several years ago, back in another age, I worked at this McDonalds.
Times have changed, and so has the way that McDonald's prepares
its food, but the management here has remained consistent. They're
good folks and work hard to make the food consistently fresh and
of the highest quality. Which, for McDonald's is all you
can hope for.

| Merrick Inn | Lexington, KY | |
|
Really a fine restaurant, and a great choice to take clients to
or your wife for a special occasion. The atmosphere is out of this
world, and the food is exceptional. The service was terrific
and treated you like the family you always wished to have! Lol...
I highly recommend it.

| Mi Mexico | Lexington, KY | |
|
Honestly, I think Jalepeno's is your better choice in this
market, but the food is good, and the atmosphere isn't uninviting.
The portions are sizeable and the wait staff was courteous and
attentive. Not a bad experience, but I do prefer other Mexican
places over this one.

| Ming Garden | Lexington, KY | |
|
Definately go for the lunch buffet. The buffet is worth fighting
the crowd over, and they keep it stocked well. The atmosphere
is comfortable and traditional, and the staff is attentive and
polite. Not too bad for the price. Good lunchtime option.

| Nagasaki Inn | Lexington, KY | |
|
Just watching the chefs prepare your food is one of the most entertaining
things I've ever experienced. It's really quite tasty,
but you have to grade this restaurant on the experience, and it
really is a great time. So, go for the experience, and enjoy the
food.... it's all worth it.

| O'Charley's (on Harrodsburg Road | Lexington, KY | |
|
This really is a fun place, and the food is good. There's nothing
that seperates it from other places in its category, but it's
consistently good, and always a pleasant atmosphere. Plus,
there's plenty on the menu to make it a different experience
every time you go.

| Outback Steakhouse | Lexington, KY | |
|
I just love their food! Everything is so big and juicy and well
done... you really can't go wrong with a huge steak and potato
and a blooming onion on the side.

| O'charley's | Louisville, KY | |
|
A very nice atmosphere and good family oriented food. Service
was excellent and the food was served hot and timely. A nice option
for those wanting good "regular food."

| Buckhead Grill & Bar | Louisville, KY | |
|
Very good food and a very popular location. The food is really
all that you could want--huge servings, and extraordinarilly
tasty! The open faced roast beef sandwich was wonderful. Service
was good considering how busy they were. Great lunch specials.
A definate winner.

| The Galt House | Louisville, KY | |
|
A wonderful dining experience, but very pricey for anyone on
a budget. If you're needing to take someone important out
for an impressive meal, this is the place. It's all very well
prepared, all extremely well presented and the service is completely
upscale. Nice dining experience.

| Ci Ci's Pizza | Louisville, KY | |
|
CiCi's is a great option for those who love buffet's.
It's very child friendly, and the management is fun enjoy
their customers. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and left with
full bellies!

| Rafferty's of Louisville | Louisville, KY | |
|
Good location, and good food combine for a nice experience. Service
was excellent, and a nice comfortable atmosphere allowed for
a relaxing dining environment. Everything arrived hot and well
prepared just as we ordered. A good choice for evening dining.

||
| The Oak Room At the Seelbach Hotel | Louisville, KY | |
|
This place screams upscale, and with good reason. Located in
the heart of Louisville, in the epitome of classy hotels, this
is the best "fine dining" experience I've ever
had. The food was wonderful and there was no lack of service. We
were well attended and fetted by the best wait staff I've
ever experienced.
|
||
| Texas Roadhouse | Louisville, KY | |
|
Good All-American type food, but the atmosphere was a bit dirty
and rough for my taste. If all you're interested in is a steak
and a potato, then this is your place, but if you like diversity
in your menu, then go elsewhere. The food was well prepared, but
took far too long for something so simple to arrive.

| Ferd Grisanti Restaurant | Louisville, KY | |
|
Having dined in Boston's "Little Italy" and
experienced real Italian restaurant food, I'm a little
hard on Italian restaurants. But, this place is genuinely good.
The food was excellent, well prepared, and the wait staff was
comfortingly attentive. I highly recommend them for good, genuine,
Italian cuisine.

| Club Grottto American Bistro | Louisville, KY | |
|
Fresh fish done well. What more do you need to say? Fish needs a
delicate well prepared approach and these folks know how to serve
it up right. Plus, you have a fabulous selection of wines to choose
from to highlight the meal. Really, the menu is more extensive
than fish, but when you can get it this good, why eat something
else?
