This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the world! Everything here is unbelievably good. I particularly recommend the red and green curries, the crab-stuffed snapper, the tom yum soup, and the mango sorbet. The staff is fantastic - if you become a regular, they will always remember you and your favorite dishes. The maitre d' is especially friendly and is an excellent resource if you can't decide what to order! The food is remarkably complex and flavorful. You will never find Thai food like this anywhere else!

I was extremely disappointed by Il Mondo Vecchio. My dinner companion and I are college students, so we're young, but our money is just as good as anyone else's. The staff looked down their noses at us and seated us in the back of the restaurant on the side that's practically behind the kitchen, while all the other patrons were seated at least 5 or 6 table-lengths away by the windows. The food was mediocre at best - certainly not worth $30+ a plate. The service was incredibly rude and patronizing.
