| Cafe Normandie Restaurant | Annapolis, MD | |

Four of us had dinner here and all were very satisfied with the
fare. The atmosphere is very nice, as you were in a restaurant
in France or Quebec. We had the duck, seafood, and beef; all prepare
very nicely. The service was good, but could have been a little
bit better. Don't leave without trying one of the desserts. I
would make it a point to visit again when in the mood for French
cuisine. Try it, you can't go wrong with this restaurant when
in Maryland's capital.

| Elysium | Alexandria, District of Columbia | |

Absolutly the best! My wife and I went there for my birthday and
had a marvelous time. The service was excellent, one of the finest
waiters that I have ever experienced. The meal was top notch for
both of us. The menu was well executed, having a choice for every
taste. The staff was great when it came to recommending a selection,
wheather wine, entree, or dessert. When in the area and looking
for an outstanding meal I would say that this is a "must" for any
real foodie!!!

| The Inn At Little Washington | Washington, VA | |
|
My best experience in fine dining. My wife arranged our trip a
year in advance. Everything was perfect from the moment we drove
up to the inn to our departure. The food is prepared by a true culinarian
and his well trained staff. I would recommend anything on the
menu; I don't believe that you could receive a bad dish from this
restaurant. Try to arrange an over-night stay with a special
someone. I can not say enough good things about the whole experience!!!
A real must!!!

| Boi Na Braza | Grapevine, TX | |
|
The thrill of trying a new cuisine wast the draw to this restaurant.
It is for the "true carnivore!" All kinds of roasted meats; but
really nothing special. A group of us went there and the opinions
were mixed. One of the group, a Brizilian by birth, gave a thumbs
down. The majority of the gathering gave a "good" rating, for
which I agree. The service was good. I am glad that I went and experienced
the restaurant but would not return. Worth a try just for the fun
of it.

| Bob Evans Restaurant | Columbia, MD | |
|
My wife and I went for a Sunday breakfast. The service was fast
and friendly. The food was as good as you can get for this type of
restaurant; hot and good. The coffee kept coming and the waitress
was on top of her game. It was what we were looking for for a quick
Sunday outing.

| King's Contrivance | Columbia, MD | |

My wife and I have been here twice and have enjoyed it completely
both times. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is just
right. The food is some of the best in the Baltimore/Washington
area. Treat yourself to a magnificent dining experience.

| Maiwand Dabob | Columbia, MD | |
|
Small carry-out/dine-in restaurant. The service is quick and
friendly. If you are dining in you order at the window and they
bring it to your table (only about five available). The food is
TERRIFIC! The bread is made fresh in a tendori. We had the mantwo
and the pumpkin (a must have). Entrees were lamb kabob and chicken
dabob. Desserts were bucklawa and rice budding.
Very good food. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

| Akbar Restaurant | Randallstown, MD | |
|
The service is average. The staff is not over excited for your
visit (maybe we hit a bad day.) The food was not particularly the
best that I have eatten and service was not up to snuff. I would
go back just to see if I hit a bad day or what, as I enjoy Indian cuisine.

| Lefty's Bar-B-Que Unlimited | Waldorf, MD | |

Very good BBQ. My wife and I stop there on a regular basis when traveling
301 between VA and MD. Good food, good size portions, and a bussleing
atmosphere. Go and enjoy!

| Dimitri's Greek Restaurant | Catonsville, MD | |
|
Family style restaurant. The food is good and with large portions.
The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Crowded parking lot
(good for the restaurant, but a little difficult getting parking.)
I would visit again.

| Double T Diner Co | Catonsville, MD | |
|
Typical diner atmosphere and food. Nothing special on the day
we were there. Service could have been better. I wouldn't hurry
back, but would give it a second shoot, only because I enjoy diners.

| Wharfside | Catonsville, MD | |
|
Small local restaurant. Service was good, friendly and attentive.
We went for the "Early bird specials." I got the crab cake, which
I found very good. The restaurant is very 50's/60's in appearance
with an older clientel. It is always busy. Some of the better seafood
in the area.

| G L Shacks Grill | Catonsville, MD | |
|
Nice pub type atmosphere. Good service, friendly staff. Food
is typical for this type of restaurant and tasty. I wouldn't hurry
back but I would return.

| Locks Pointe Restaurant | Chesapeake, VA | |
|
Absolutely terrific. I have been there several times and have
always found it to be above anything else in Chesapeake. The service
is very good, the staff friendly and attentive, and the food,
wheather seafood, beef, or fowl, is always prepared just so and
served to a "T". A must try when in the area.

| Nathan's Deli | Chesapeake, VA | |
|
Great deli atmosphere. The food is good and hot! As close to New
York style as I believe that you will find in the area. Draws a big
local crowd and that says alot for the place. You will enjoy this
place.

| Kelly's Tavern | Chesapeake, VA | |
|
Good food and good (relatively) service. Up scale bar atmosphere.
Known for their hamburgers, and rightly so. Good fries and onion
rings. Worth a visit!!!

The location, inside of the Best Western Hotel, threw me off a
little, but we had to try it...We were not disappointed in anything.
The service was great; attentive, friendly, and up to the high
ratings that it has received. The prices were very good for the
portion size and quality of the food. Presentation was beautiful.
The appetizers...Duck in phyllo and game terrine...were delicious.
Our soups...Thai shrimp soup and Red and Yellow Pepper soup (the
better of the two) were both good and presented artfully. Both
entrees were "tres manifique"...Medaillon de Veau and Mignon
de Porcelet were done to perfection. My wife had an Pate Chouix
aux Pomme de Terre with Maple ice cream for dessert and I had a Terrine
de tois Chocolate aux sauce fambois. When in Quebec this restaurant
is a must for the serious diner!!!

| Restaurant Al Wadi | Quebec, QC | |
|
Having dined in many Lebanese and Middle Eastern restaurants
I found this one average at best. I had no preconceived notions
of what Lebanese food would taste like in Canada and nothing to
compare it to. If you are a fan of this cuisine "don't waste the
chew" as a friend of mine would say. The service leaves much to
be desired. The food is not flavor well, although I'm sure it could
have been worse. You can find more enjoyable food on the Grand
Allee!

| Au Petit Coin Breton Ltee | Quebec, QC | |
|
A very nice spot to have crepes and gratins (what they are known
for) while touring Quebec City. The service is very good and even
if you don't speak French the people are very helpful and attentive.
The French Onion Soup is grand and the Fruits de Mer Gratine was
very good. The waitress are dressed in period costumes of the
Breton area of France and the whole atmosphere is very inviting.
Sure to please!

| Gram Masala Fine Cuisine From | Quebec, QC | |
|
Very good Indian food. The service was good and the food, for the
most part was prepared just right. We did have a surprise with
a dish that was suppose to have almonds and did contain peanuts,
(I like to know of any substitutions that may occur!) I did have
some trouble conveying my request to my server; we had an English/Indian
barrier vs. a French/English communication problem...guess
who won??? If you are in search of Indian cuisine in Quebec City
this is definitely the place to stop.
