| Restaurant Name | City |

|---|---|---|
| Alex's Continental Restaurant | Miamisburg, OH | |
Alex's was a wonderful place to hold a catered affair. Better than
a trip to Europe.
| China Dragon | New Lebanon, OH | |
Small town Chinese, not too bad, solid but unspectacular menu variety.
Hot and Sour soup has excellent flavor. Open Sunday, a rarity for this
town.

| General Fry's Chicken | Marion, OH | |
Cheap Chicken and Barbecue carry out, with both fried and barbecue
chicken as well as ribs, fish and shrimp. Several quantities of each
item make this good for solos or families, from a 2 piece to 20, with or
without sides. There's also a beverage carryout in the same structure.

| Moose Preserve Bar & Grill | Bloomfield Hills, MI | |
Good food and a nice eclectic selection of meats like elk, moose and
buffalo. Service can sometimes leave a lot to be desired. The last time
I was there, I stood waiting to be seated and i had no less than two staff
just look at me without saying a word. I guess my money was no good to them
that day.

| Bates Hamburgers | Livonia, MI | |
Forget White Castle, these are the sliders to go for. There are a few
Bates, and the burgers are about the same as they are at Greene's
in Farmington and Hunter House in Birmingham. For few seconds, the
taste of delight. Once you factor them in, the fritters are fabulous.

| Fibber Mc Gee's | Wixom, MI | |
Fine menu, not a bad hangout. A bit smoky as it is a bar. Good service.
| Seva Restaurant | Ann Arbor, MI | |
I am not a vegetarian, but I was very satisfied with what I had at Seva,
an excellent menu that crosses the globe from India to Mexico to Italy
to North Africa to the simple Reuben sandwich (smoked cheeses).

| Gandy Dancer | Ann Arbor, MI | |
If you're a fan of the Joe Muer restaurants and have missed this
place, you need to go. A tad pricy, especially for some of the dishes,
the lobster ravioli is practically a child's portion, but the
food overall is excellent and the atmosphere cannot be topped. Attentive
service and they will accomodate if you ask them, as they did us while
visiting family at nearby Mott Hospital.

| J W Filmore's | Mount Pleasant, MI | |
Decent family restaurant. Good option if you want to avoid chains,
as all LaBelle restaurants are now gone.
| A Taste of the Orient | Huntington Woods, MI | |
Decent-sized menu, but you'd expect it to be larger considering
they cover the cuisine of five different countries. Carry-out only.
| Golden Phoenix | West Bloomfield, MI | |
Good-sized portions and excellent selection. Not overly spiced,
I asked for medium for the Kung Bo and it had little heat, but food itself
was excellent. Flavorful soup and overly large egg rolls.
| Dragon City | Fairborn, OH | |
They've been around forever, and they fried the very first dumpling.
They put the kung pao and szechuan together, they are Dragon City, and
they set the stage. Very good Chinese, nice-sized menu.
| Village Family Restaurant | Waynesville, OH | |
Bustling family lunch and dinner place, very busy on weekend for antique
shoppers. Good menu, great prices.
| Asia Cafe | Dayton, OH | |
This location has been a revolving door, but it seems Asia Cafe has some
staying power. Nice selection of Chinese and Vietnames dishes, choose
your heat. Large lunch menu, too. Good prices.
| Hickory Bar-B-Que | Dayton, OH | |
The sauce is boss. Not a bad deal for the money. Gets crowded, seniors
friendly. Not too many places like this left.
| Richards Pizza | Hamilton, OH | |
Pretty good pizza, a Hamilton tradition. I guess the steakk sandwiches
are good.
| Winking Lizard Tavern | Independence, OH | |
Great selection, nice menu, fun place to hang out in Cleveland when
you don't want to get bogged down in the trendy downtown spots or
the Flats.
| Hornblower's Barge & Grill | Cleveland, OH | |
May seem to be touristy, but actually a good restaurant with fair prices
and solid menu. Great view and location.
| Fowlerville Farms Fmly Rstrnt | Fowlerville, MI | |
When this was last reviewed, there wasn't muuch at all off the exits
between Farmington Hills and Lansing beyond this place. While the
options have greatly gorwn since then, with the outlet mall by Howell,
this place still thrives. Food is ok. The place is a combined restaurant/gas
station (BP)/gift shop. It's like a smaller TA or Pride.
| Smokey Bones | Dayton, OH | |
The best of the Darden chain (Olive Garden, Red Lobster) but for some
reason recently down-scaled. Good BBQ but better sides, great briisket
and Brunswick Stew. Try the bag of donuts.
