| Hickory River Smokehouse | Tipp City, OH | |
|
At least the third different restaurant at this location the past decade,
the long Ohio entry of this small chain specializes in Texas-style
BBQ. Brisket is excellent.

| Parker's Pizza | Georgetown, OH | |
|
About the lone non-chain pizza place left in Georgetown. Although
I didn't have it, they do offer breakfast, with quite a few breakfast
sandwich oferings for fairly cheap. Very good sandwiches, the bbq
beef sandwich I tried had a hint of garlic in it, maybe that was in the
coleslaw included in the sandwich, but it was a very pleasant surprise.

and more breakfast options than you'll find anywhere. Great sandwiches,
too.

| Joe's U.s. 40 Grille | Springfield, OH | |
|
Used to be Stocksdales. Same philosophy, although they don't
feature all the pies and pancakes their predecessor had. And that is
not a problem when you have a big menu with lots of quality choices. Old-fashioned
diner on historic US 40 has lots of breakfast options, great sandwiches
and nice dinner options. They feature an excellent Buffalo burger.

| Jac & Do's Pizza | Findlay, OH | |
|
One of two in Findlay, this busy pizza and sandwich place serves very
good pizza. Sizes range from 9 to a whopping 21 inches. Decent rices,
but service can be slow at times, which can be expected when you're
this busy.
|
||
| Cygnet Pizza and Subs | Cygnet, OH | |
|
Excellent selection of pizzas and subs for what is pretty much the only
game in town. Good prices, too. One thing that stands out is they have
no less than nine different varieties of dessert pizzas including
peanut butter and jelly.

|
Large deli with lots of carryout options. Great sandwich selection
with lots of lo-cal and lo-carb options. Good selection of soups and
plenty of kosher favorites. A little pricy, but it doesn't get
better. They're on top of things despite being very busy all the
time.

Local bar/grille has decent menu. Wide variety includes goulash,

|
||
| Wing Station | Wixom, MI | |
|
Kind of pricy compared to other wing places, but the wings are very good.
A handful of sauce varities to keep it interesting. They have a small
selection of sandwiches.

| Sunrise Cafe | Farmington, MI | |
|
Breakfast and lunch specialists. Food is freshly made, a classic diner-type
restaurant that doesn't force it like a lot of other places. Good
service.
|
||
| Country Boy Ii | Walled Lake, MI | |
|
What you would expect with a name like Country Boy. Nice-sized menu
of simple favorites. A little something for everyone. Good broasted
chicken and the chef's choices are worth trying for dinner. I tried
the kielbasa and kraut and it was great. You get a lot for your money.
