| Jack Creek Steakhouse & Cantina | Allentown, PA | |
|
A great TEX-MEX resturant that realy knows how to cook a steak.
there ribs fall off the bone and instead of the bag o chips that
you get at other places you get frish made torteale to munch on.
(very tasty and a change of pace). the only place that can cook
a steak well done and get it right, from rare red in the middle (moo,
oo) to well done, cooked in the middle (no moo)with out burning.

| The Crazy Clam | Sylvan Beach, NY | |
|
Great place to take a date. Good entertainment and good atmosphere.
Food is good too.

| Maya Palenque | Novato, CA | |
|
Typical decor, friendly service and busy bar. Food is good and
inexpensive. Small amount of outdoor sitting. The menu features
items with mole sauce and seafood. Of course there is the usual
tacos, burritos, faitas and so on. Fairly crowded but you can
always get seated right away.

| Il Fornaio | Corte Madera, CA | |
|
Chain above average. We actually use to really like this place
since we are from LA and it was a name we recognized. The waiters
are really nice and take good care of you but the hostess is rude
and snobby. Food is always good but they clearly don't recognize
their regular patrons at the front so we stopped going. This place
is expensive when all is said and done. Try other places where
they treat you well and want your business. (We were eating here
two times a week at first $80.00 a pop)

| California Cafe Bar & Grill | Corte Madera, CA | |
|
You would never expect to find such a good restaurant in a mall.
The food is very good and presented well. My favorite is the ahi
and the other fish entrees. The crab cakes were far better than
most. Great bar drinks. The decor is nice, upscale and the service
is excellent. Weekend evenings need reservations unless you
get there early.

| Your Butcher Frank | Longmont, CO | |
|
Probably the best sandwich in Longmont, most of the sandwiches
are your basic meat on a hoagie roll with the basic fixings. You
get a lot of sandwich for the money and the meats are top quality.
Franks is not a foo-foo kind of place, don't expect sprouts or
any of that kind of thing! I often ask them to cut down on the meat
too, as they put quite a bit on.
I would also check out Trapedas in Niwot for some tasty sandwiches.

| Musashi | Whitehall, PA | |
|
located about a mile from the lehi vally mall in twards the city
of allentown.
the food is good but the SUSHI A LA CARTE is for 1 piece only, not
like the better restaurants where you get 2 pieces for the order
and is a little pricy.

| St. Charles Locker & Resturaunt | Saint Charles, MO | |
|
St. Charles Locker is a family owned and run BBQ resturaunt. All
ingredients are fresh and soups made daily. They offer a wide
selection of steaks and sandwiches as well as some of the best
homeade sausage and bratwurst this side of Germany. My personal
favorite is their prime rib, which is seasoned to perfection
and melts in your mouth. And if you like hot stuff, order the buffalo
wings and tell Gebo you want em hot.

| Java Grill | Novato, CA | |
|
There is seating but this is kind of a take out place. Really good
burgers for what this is. They also have wraps and smoothies.
Smoothies are very sugar tasting and not made with fresh fruit
other than banana but the rest of the stuff is worth eating expecially
for the price.

| Castaway Restaurant & Banquets | San Bernardino, CA | |
|
Castaway is on top of a hill overlooking the valley.
This is where you go for prom night or any other
occassion when stars above and lights below may come
in handy. The food is very good for the Inland Empire.

||
| Chilis Bar & Grill | San Bernardino, CA | |
|
The Chilis in San Bernardino is just like everywhere
else. Standard American dinner restaurant chain. It
is a fine place to go for lunch with co-workers,
probably not where one would go for making a marriage
proposal.

| Korean Hometown | San Bernardino, CA | |
|
This is a little hole-in-the-wall place that will
do in a pinch. The food is not very good when
compared to Seoul, but it is closer. The staff
are friendly and helpful. I recommend something
other than the octopus.

| Korean Restaurant | San Bernardino, CA | |
|
This Korean restaurant has the bbq grills and the
staff will even help you use them. It is the best
Korean restaurant in the San Bernardino area.
|
||
| Olive Garden Italian Restaurant | San Bernardino, CA | |
|
The Olive Garden may be a dinner chain restaurant,
at least it is the best of that group. The food is
quite good and reasonably priced. That translates
into very good overall value.

||
| Pho Ha Vietnamese Restaurant | San Bernardino, CA | |
|
Typical Vietnamese restaurant, nothing stands
out in particular. Worth spending 5 bucks.
|
||
| Taco Ruidoso Restaurant | San Bernardino, CA | |
|
Taco Ruidoso is run by this surly old gent with
a sly smile and his sweet wife. The neighborhood
is not so great, but the food is excellent value.
This gent makes green jalepeno sauce to die for.
Forget Taco Bell or Del Taco. These people do things
right for about the same price. Be warned, the
soft tacos will melt in your mouth. They are closed
on Sunday.

| Time Out Lunch | Olyphant, PA | |
|
This is a Mom and Pop family restaurant. Absolutely. The prices
are very low. Full breakfasts for under $2. Great lunch specials,
too. THEIR SPECIALTY: 10 Wieners for $10 on Tuesdays. They are
out of this world!! Everyone here knows eachother, a VERY friendly
place to eat. They are open 6;00am-3:00pm. They have take outs,
too. Visit Time Out Lunch! Catch up on old times with people you've
known forever.

| Bbq Junction | Saint Marys, GA | |
|
WE DRIVE FROM JAX FL. TO EAT AT BBQ JUNCTION, WE PASS ALOT OF OTHER
BBQ PLACES BUT IT'S WHERE WE GO FOR THE BEST BBQ AROUND,
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK,
AND WE'LL KEEP COMING BACK.

| Bamboo Garden | Austin, TX | |
|
While the place looks old, everything looks pretty much clean
and maintained. I don't like the gloomy atmosphere. Something
about the color of the interior that makes me dislike that place.
The tables and chairs are cramped against each other. Seems like
the owner is trying to accomodate as many people as possible without
considering their comfort and personal space. It was also very
loud since there's a club just next to it. The food is average and
nothing to write about. The food is fine by my standard but the
place is not. Thus, they only earn 1 star from me.
