About the only thing I like about the place is the view. Food was so - so. Not worth the price. Service to me was and has always been poor. If you are in there during a peak time, they force you to eat fast, get dessert fast, pay the bill and get out. You can not enjoy your dinner and have a discussion with anyone cause the service people are always at the table with interruptions. <br> If someone else is paying the bill, I will go back. Otherwise I will go someplace else. Take a basket with food and wine and enjoy the park and the walk on a nice day, but I will avoid this place.

Took my wife and we had dinner. It was great. We walked in about 5:30 and got sat down. Service was good and the food was very nicely prepared and the presentation by the chief was artfull. Food was good and I believe spiced just right. I like mine warm to hot and my wife likes just flavor. We shared the two dishes and the amount was just right. We will be going back cause there are too many dishes we want to try.

Gardner's is by far, the nicest place to take a special lady to. Had our 25th anniversary dinner there and what a place to eat and talk. It is quiet and yet has a very private or excusive feel to the place. No better service in town. Atmosphere is great cause the outside of the place will fool you. Food is superb.The wine list covers I think the total range of needs. <br> Make reservations, I think they are closed on Monday's. Once you go, Gardner's will be one of the places that will always be top on your list. Afterwards, you can take a walk over by the bay as it is only two blocks from the resturant.
