| Royal | Twin Falls, ID | |
|
This place used to be special when it was the just the Royal. Now
the food is okay, but nothing special considering it is trying
to do both Italian and Mexican. I don't think that any of the
food is special now as a result of trying to serve a wider selection.
Not the quality it was a few years ago.

| Sharis | Twin Falls, ID | |
|
The real advantage that Sharis has is that it is open 24 hours.
That is a big benefit in a town where most things close at 9. The
food is okay, solid, but not striking. Servce tends to be good.
This is a good place to have a late dinner, but there are better
choices during traditional hours.

| TSE Restaurant | Twin Falls, ID | |
|
One of the better Chinese places in this town. It has a friendly
locally owned feel about it. The food is good. Personally I feel
that all the Chinese resturants in Twin Falls are lacking, but
this is one of the best for the area. I good choice that is open daily
when most other resturants are closed for holidays.

||
| Wok' N Grill | Twin Falls, ID | |
|
A reasonably inexpensive Chinese dinning establishment. The
food is good, but I enjoy the most is the buffet. This consists
of you typical Mandarin items, but also has a reasonably good
Mongolian BBQ. I very nice aspect of this place is that while it
has buffets, the items ordered off the menu do not suffer and typically
are very good.

| Gambino's Italian Restaurant | Moscow, ID | |
|
The Italian food is pretty good. However, the short distance
from the university pulls down the overall rating of the resturant.
This place is likely to be swarmed with college students and most
of the time Gambino's is geared towards that. You are more
likely to find a good beer special that great food. This place
tends to be loud and if you are looking for a romantic setting,
there are better places to choose from.

||
| Casa De Oro | Moscow, ID | |
|
This is probably our favorite resturant in Moscow. The food is
very good. The atmosphere is very good. Service tends to be very
good. Parking can be a problem, but since it is close enough to
campus that most people can walk. I always enjoy the food, especially
the lunch specials.

||
| Mongolian BBQ Express | Moscow, ID | |
|
This is a very good Mongolian BBQ. They have a reasonably large
selection of items to choose from for your meal. Basically you
start at the end of the buffet and fill a bowl with the raw ingedients.
These items are dumped on a large grill and cooked for you. The
way that this resturant is setup, if you don't like your meal,
then you only have yourself to blame. The price at lunch is very
good. It is a little more for dinner, but at dinner they add the
option of seafood to the items.

||
| Pita Pit | Moscow, ID | |
|
What makes the Pita Pit reasonably popular is their late hours.
If you are doing a late night cram session for a test, this place
will be open to deliever you a pita. The pitas are okay. However
do not plan on going to this place and dinning there. While not
billed as a carry out only, don't plan on finding a table there.

| 9 Beans and a Burrito | Twin Falls, ID | |
|
This is a very nice fast food mexican resturant. The food is very
good and it makes a nice lunch stop. It does not have the frills
of some of the fancier Mexican resturants and to be more intended
for a quock stop then a fine dining experience. In that vain, they
are a very nice place to eat.

||
| Shoshone Snack Bar | Shoshone, ID | |
|
The Shoshone Snack Bar is your classic high school hangout. Virtually
all of the employees there are high school students. Often this
includes the people that are cooking the food. The food itself
is your standard hamburger, fries, and milkshake affair. The
food is reasonably good and inexpensive. This is an okay place
to stop by on the way through town, but it probably is best not viewed
as a destination resturant.
|
||
| Manhattan Cafe | Shoshone, ID | |
|
The quality of this resturant has dropped incredibly. This place
used to be a favorite for people on their way to Sun Valley and used
to have people like Ernest Hemingway among its clients. However
today's Manhattan Cafe is a far cry from those days. The food
is at best average and at times can be much worse. Even the locals
largely avoid it these days. OKay in a pinch but probably should
be avoided the rest of the time.

||
| Eric's Cafe | Moscow, ID | |
|
Eric's Cafe is best know for its Palouse Pounder hamburger
and its milkshakes. The hamburgers and VERY large and filling.
The milkshakes are so large that they give it to you in two glasses.
This is an inexpenise burger joint that is much better than others
in the area!

||
| El Mercado Family Mxcn Rstrnt | Moscow, ID | |
|
One of the twin Mexican resturants in Moscow. El Mercado is conviently
located next to a movie theater so they are ideal for a dinner and
a movie in Moscow. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. I perfer
Casa, but a good choice when on the east end of Moscow.
|
||
| Buffalo Cafe | Twin Falls, ID | |
|
This place is rather unimpressive. The food is okay assuming
that you find something that you like on their limited menu. The
prices are good, but the hard to find location, limited hours,
and slow staff make this a place that we can not recommend.
|
||
| Depot Grill | Twin Falls, ID | |
|
The Depot Grill is an interesting place to eat. They are a favorite
of many older longtime residents. This is a place that is used
to keeping clients coming back over periods of years or decades.
However that has to do more with the current customers than what
the resturant itself does. The food itself is good and inexpensive.
However this is not a place that caiters to upscale visitors with
more refined tastes. If you are reading this, then chances are
the Depot Grill is not the place for you. That said, we do enjoy
going there on occastion.

||
| Garibaldi's | Twin Falls, ID | |
|
This is the best Mexican resturant in Twin Falls. They have a great
menu including inexpensive lunch specials Monday - Friday.
I am ususally not a fan of chains, but this is one that I endorse.
The service is great regardless of the time of visit. If you want
Mexican, you can't go wrong with this place.
|
||
| Idaho Joes | Twin Falls, ID | |
|
We enjoy this place for a casual evening out. If you don't
want ethnic foods, this is a good choice. Nice Sunday brunch.
Good prices, friendly staff, and tastey food. These are the reasons
why we keep coming back. Nothing special just good food and great
pies.
|
||
| Jonny Carinos | Twin Falls, ID | |
|
This is probably the best Italian resturant in the town. The food
is very good. However, if there is a person in your party that does
not like Italian, this is not the place for them. If it does not
come from Italy, it is not on the menu. Wonderful drinks, service,
and desserts!
|
||
| Mandarin House Restaurant | Twin Falls, ID | |
|
If you are thinking about going here, plan on going for the buffet.
It is very good and has a very large selection. This place is setup
with that in mind. As a result, personal service can be slow and
lacking. A good choice for a Chinese buffet, but it is not the best
choice if ordering entrees.
|
||
| Papa Kelsey's Pizza & Subs | Twin Falls, ID | |
|
Papa Kelseys is a very nice alternative to the Pizza Huts and the
other chains. The pizza is good and so are the sandwiches. They
offer that homemade taste that is lacking at most pizza places.
They are a very good place to go.
