| Whataburger | Petersburg, VA | |

As Derek said. If you love burgers, fries, and shakes, this is
the place to go. Some of the biggest burgers around. Nice and juicy
along with thick. Way better than McDonalds or any of the other
'burger joints'. This place is a Classic.

| King's Barbecue | Petersburg, VA | |

We used to go here years ago. I recently went back and it was just
like I remembered. The bbq is the best but the apple pie is great
also. It is a clean place with great service.

| Smokey Pig | Ashland, VA | |
|
Good family Sit down and breathe kind of place. This is not just
your garden-variety barbeque restaurant becauseit is complete
with its decor of pigs. than you'd ever want to see in one place.
Does remind me of Pigman's in Nags Head.
The menu is chock full of very good things. With chopped or sliced
pork (in either sandwich or platter form), and beef as their main
attractions, The chicken is great also. The Smokey Pig is an Ashland
landmark. Whether for its selection of fried vegetable side-dishes,
or the hush-puppies, or the usually friendly service it's
always a fun dining experience. My favorite is the Chicken actually.
People come from miles around. Try it!

| New China | Richmond, VA | |

A little pricy, but vert good food. Terrific service also! The
egg drop soup is awsome.
Excellent atmosphere makes this place a real treat.

| Stuffy's Subs | Richmond, VA | |
|
Good sandwiches, but suffers in the same way that most franchises
do, in not being able to offer the personal touch. Good selection
of subs however and the meatballs were delicious.

| Lobster House | Williamsburg, VA | |
|
Lobster and more Lobster. My wife and I went here when we got married
and went back on our 25th Anniversary. Yes, they have been here
a long time. But the food is great (if you like seafood, especially
lobster) and the service is good. It's no fancy and prices
are reasonable.

| Colonial Pancake House | Williamsburg, VA | |
|
Overpriced breakfast is nothing to write home about. Usually
a wait during tourist season also. Expensive juice was a turn-off,
though the service was decent.

| Captain Tom's Seafood | Colonial Heights, VA | |
|
Place is still ok. Most of the food is fried which is now off my diet.
However if you ask you can get something broiled. Portions are
still big and you won't be hungry when you leave. Service
is good. Nice place for lunch.

| Padow's Hams & Deli | Colonial Heights, VA | |
|
The place to go for lunch!! Deli sandwiches and soups to match!!
But they will be busy! Unless you go early or late, after the lunch
crowd.

| Bonefish Grill | Midlothian, VA | |
|
This place just openned and is instantly popular. This must be
due to the newness. Food is good but not exceptional. Biggest
thing is the up scale presentation and service. We went at 4:30
( they open at 4)on a Sat. and had reservations. There was a long
line when we left. I got the Scallops and Shrimp, which as I say
was good. But the ceasar salad was just as good. Will try it again
but may sit at the bar, it is a Grill after all.

| Hard Shell | Richmond, VA | |
|
Not sure about the entree' price as we went here for a buisness
dinner. However, the food was excellent!! I got a stuffed flounder
and my wife got their shrimp and crab Imperial. The wine list is
great. The deserts were wonderful. We plan to go back for a more
private evening. ;-) definitely a keeper for us!! But it is NOT
in the Bottom! It is at 24th and Cary just beyond the Bottom.

| Tripps | Richmond, VA | |
|
Good food and is always hot. Best time to go I think is lunch for
a salad or sandwich. Presentation is good and service is great.
I thing the quality of the food is fine and does not need improvement.

| chili's restuarant | Richmond, VA | |
|
Good ribs. Wife had the fajita's. Food was hot and there is
enough on the menu to choose from, with appitizer as well. Would
also like to see wait staff more knowledgeable about wine like
others. But also feel that the service was very good. Definitely
busy but still a very nice place to eat.

| Old Original Bookbinder's | Richmond, VA | |
|
This is a wonderful but expensive place! Either the seafood or
fillet mingion are teriffic. They hav a good wine list but don't
fill up. You have to leave room for the cheesecake!

| Lonestar Steak House | Richmond, VA | |
|
Ok, this is a Chain restraunt. But the steak is good and always
hot. Good service and prompt food delivery. Menu selection could
be broader but it is still nice.

| Sal's Italian Restaurant | Williamsburg, VA | |
|
This is like Sal's restaurants in Richmond. Good service,
good food, and fairly priced meals make this a place to come to
again and again. The food is delicious and there is a nice cozy
atmosphere too. This is a lovely restaurant. There is a big salad
bar where you can get soup and salad as you wait for your meal.

| Shield's Tavern | Williamsburg, VA | |
|
This place was awesome! The atmosphere takes you back in time.
The characters enhance the experience along with , the
service, and the food. Make an afternoon or evening of this place
and you'll have a wonderful time! A bit pricey, but worth
evry penny of it!

| Trellis Restaurant | Williamsburg, VA | |
|
Fine place to go afier a day of shopping in Old Towne Williamsburg.
But save some money for you will need it here. Overall it is an excellent
place to relax after a full day. Service varies but the food is
memorable.

||
| Sebera's Custard Kitchen | Prince George, VA | |
|
Sebera's has a nice homey atmosphere. The food is great,
made with care on the spot. Everything is fresh, not made and just
kept hot. The pies and cakes are made each morning, nothing is
old from the day before. And the service is just good. They treat
you like a long time friend and make you feel at home.
