Great Chicken fried steak. Pleasant atmosphere. Good family place. Wish the original was still alive, what a place that was.

Afraid that perhaps some folks are impressed with the fact that this restaurant is in "Blackhawk" and feel that somehow the cache rubs off on them by coming to this place. Although the food is good, it is severly overpriced for what you get. The service is excellent and above reproach. We were a party of four: two had the pistachio crusted pork tenderloin, one the rosemary chicken and one the New York Steak. He felt the NY Steak was the best tasting he had ever had; she felt you had better LOVE rosemary to have the chicken; we both felt the pork tenderloin was moist, tender and tasty. But we all agreed that it was overpriced. Sorry.

Generous portions around in this restaurant. Great place to dine with the family. Lots of choices to suite everyone's taste. Some of the most flavorful fried chicken I have ever tasted. If you go home hungry, it is your fault.
