China Star Restaurant Broken Arrow, OK
The China Star restraurant is an average Cantonese style dine in location. Thier sauces are quite good, but the meat quality leaves a bit to be desired. The price is a little high for the quality of food.
Duffy's Restaurant Broken Arrow, OK
Duffy's is simply a great diner! The service is good and the food is both well prepared and abundant. Breakfast, particularly, is a good bet.
Zio's Italian Restaurant Tulsa, OK
Basic chain Italian food. Nice if you can stand being surrounded by the Yuppie crowd.
Bourbon Street Cafe Tulsa, OK
Well, the alligator was entirely gristle, though the gumbo was acceptable. If you like Cajun, go to The Cajun Boiling Pot.
RON'S HAMBURGERS AND CHILI Tulsa, OK
Very good chili burger! Well, very good everything! If you like American burger joints, this is the place!
Knotty Pine Barbeque Tulsa, OK
Wow! This is THE barbeque joint (and I mean "joint") in Tulsa! Don't let the exterior or the locality frighten you off. Best BBQ anywhere!
New York Bagel Cafe Tulsa, OK
The bagels are okay, but the Reuben sandwich is quite good. Best I've found in town, thus far.
Weber's Root Beer Stand Tulsa, OK
This place has very good greasy spoon burgers, BUT! They make their own root beer! Great root beer!
Full Moon Cafe Tulsa, OK
Very good tuna steak sandwich. Fries are over the top, as well. Warning...this is a Yuppie zone.
Hideaway Pizza Tulsa, OK
Very overrated pizza. The product is adequate, but uninspireing. For great pizza, try Marrios Pizzaria.
Fountains Restaurant Tulsa, OK
Well, this is a restaurant with pretty fountains and a reputation that it does not live up to. Perhaps they were having a bad night, but my escargot in mushroom caps...just weren't very good (and I LIKE escargot).
Schlotzsky's Deli Tulsa, OK
This is the most unique sandwich known to man! The original sandwich with salt and vinegar chips...heaven.
Le Picardy French Bakery Tulsa, OK
The pastries are great, the French onion soup is great, the bread is great and the price is great!
Salad Alley Tulsa, OK
Salad is good, the quiche is grand. They have soups, that are good one day, and okay the next.
Minuteman Pizza Parlor Sand Springs, OK
The Minuteman is a family owned business and is the best american style, thin crust pizza in the business! Try a Green olive pizza with Red Creme soda.
Lee's Diner Sand Springs, OK
Very good greasy spoon diner. You have to try the (drumroll please) Jumbo, Double meat, Char, Chili, Cheese burger with curly-que fries.
Venesian Inn Tontitown, AR
Their yeast rolls are wonderful, but the steak (marinated in a local-made wine) is fantastic! Worth the drive.
Acapulco's Mexican Restraunt Los Angeles, CA
Great Mexican food, in good quantity. Service is superior, too. You won't be disappointed.
Mekong River Tulsa, OK
This...is a magnificent restaurant! Veitnamese cuisine with a French colonial influence. The French diced steak, accompanied by a lime sauce, is so good I have been unable to order another dish. Friends report the pho to be wonderful. Do not miss this restaurant!
Franks Cafe Tulsa, OK
For breakfast, Franks Cafe has eccellent home cooking. Order eggs with confidence as the cooks know what they are doing. Great price, service and food. Try the breakfast ribeye (cooked to order) with two eggs etc. $4.85. Unbeleivably good!
