| Miyabi Kyoto Japanese Restaurant and Sushi | Murrells Inlet, SC | |
|
Some of the best sushi on the Grand Strand. There are usually monthly specials that are very resonable. Some of the chef specials are really unique and tasty. Have eaten in the steakhouse part a few times, but much prefer the sushi side. Just my preference. My friends say the steakhouse side is good too.

| Kimbel's Restaurant | Murrells Inlet, SC | |

Not sure about the food, but the view is worth the membership to join
the club. Overlooking the Waccamaw River, the view of the ICW is breathtaking
as well as the ride through some of the most beautiful live oaks that
you will ever see. OK, the food is truly good as well!:-)

| Lee's Inlet Kitchen | Murrells Inlet, SC | |

The food is always great. Especially love the shoestring onion rings.
Only drawback is it's a bit higher than most seafood restaurants.
Must have gottn rid of the old addage "Good food, good price"

| Thoroughbreds Restaurant | Myrtle Beach, SC | |

Very romantic place to dine. One of my favorite places to eat if
it isn't going to be sushi!:-)

| Dante's Down The Hatch | Atlanta, GA | |
|
This is one of the best places in the US to eat. The atmosphere and
food are awesome. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to
eat the chocolate fondue because I usually fill up on the cheese
and entre. For more info go to their website: http://www.dantesdownthehatch.com

| Valino's Restaurant & Karaoke | Wilmington, NC | |
|
Food is really good home style cooking. Located right across
from Legion Stadium. Not to far from downtown.

| Ogden Restaurant | Wilmington, NC | |
|
"Leon's" as most of the locals would call it,
serves some good home cooked meals. Friendly staff and a variety
of daily specials.

| Kagetsu | Wilmington, NC | |
|
Probably the best sushi that I have ever had anywhere. There is
only one chef, but the sushi is always good. For less wait, go early.

| Tokyo House | Raleigh, NC | |
|
One of the better sushi resturants I've tried. Puts Kanki
to shame. Always feel like I'm eating with friends when I
eat here. Very friendly and sushi is great too.

| Sushi Blues Cafe | Raleigh, NC | |
|
Very enjoyable experience! Food was good and the atmosphere
is great (but I'm a blues lover). Near Most of downtown and
NCSU. Well worth the time to check out.

| Yamato Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi | Myrtle Beach, SC | |
|
The sushi is good, but pieces are smaller than what I found in Wilmington.
Granted you're here mainly for the atmosphere and being
on the lake isn't bad atmosphere! Still an enjoyable time
was had by our party.

| Melting Pot | Myrtle Beach, SC | |
|
I love these resturants. The traditional cheese fondues are
a great starter, but I usually tend to fill up on them. This is bad.
The food is always fresh and prepared to your taste. It should
be since you're cooking it yourself! Great wine selection.
For more info, they have a website http://www.meltingpot.com/Locations/LocationDisplay.asp?p1=1201
