This place has AWESOME food. The best hummus in the valley. Chicken
Sharmma is a must, either the sandwhich or the plate entree.

| Casa Carmen | Phoenix, AZ | |
|
Then Casa Carmens' is going to be at least
8 stars in taste, quality and flavor. I eat there often
and the food is always fresh, tasty and the salsa is made in house,
so you know it's fresh (not out of a bottle or can!). They also make
about
the best killer margarita on the west side. There is always fresh
flowers on every table every day, makes for an overall nice experience.

| Such Is Life | Phoenix, AZ | |

Surprising and excellent cusine of central Mexico. The food
transcends the normal 'mexican food' experience. The chef
here deserves sainthood! Also try his 'Altos' restaurant,
with the best of spanish cusine.

| Mongolian Barbeque | Phoenix, AZ | |
|
It was really good... you do it all yourself, right down to adding
the kind of sauce you like...You can add as much or as little of
whatever you want, veggies, meat, sauce whatever... then you
hand them the bowl, and they cook it right there.and they are all
over phx

| Honey Bears Barbeque | Phoenix, AZ | |
|
People get excited about this place because
of the beans, which are pretty tasty, but that's not what
BBQ is about -- BBQ is supposed to be about the meat, the best grades
and selections of meat rubbed and smoked to perfection. The meat
here is so dry that you they either stew it to add moisture back
in, or if they didn't stew it, you need to smother it in sauce
to make it edible.

| El Paso Barbeque Co Restaurant | Glendale, AZ | |
|
The price is a little high. Great
place to go for bar-be-que, but a little advice, if your in a hurry
and have young kids, this place may not be worth it. Because you
wait and wait and wait for a table, then to place your order, then
you wait for your order, and then if you haven't waited enough,
you have to wait for your check!

| Y C's Mongolian Barbeque | Tempe, AZ | |
|
The food was great but the aftermath
was not so great. I was hungry again in only a few hours. It tasted
wonderful but I had to eat again a short while later which made
me feel like I wasted money.

| Lai Lai Mongolian Barbeque | Phoenix, AZ | |
|
The food, however, is good, both the chinese buffet and especially
the mongolian BBQ. For the money, choose this over the place across
the street (katty-corner) ;)*wink* but if there are people smoking
here and you still would like to ENJOY chinese food, might as well
pack up and go north on 35th (across Northern) and take a right
into the Safeway parking lot. No smoking in there.

| The Monastery | Phoenix, AZ | |
|
In fact, I was suprised no one else listed The Monastery here but I may
know
why. It's a local hangout and it's hard to find. Without a doubt,
my favorite
lunch time place. Don't take your kids, they'll be bored.
If you want a burger
or chicken, they give you it raw and you slap it one of their big grills.
You
cook, you eat.

| Kc's Pit Bbq$Lovejoy's | Phoenix, AZ | |
|
So
for those who like the BBQ taste but not hot you would enjoy the
flavor and the just right amount of sauce. You can enjoy the tangyer
taste. You have the enjoyment of chicken or ribs(beef or pork)
The friendly service makes you feel at home in this busy world.
A place to relax.

I eat here every chance I get. You choose how your food comes out
and how it is seasoned. Great for health conscious people.

| Barbecue Company The | Phoenix, AZ | |
|
They serve excellent ribs,
rib tips, and pork or brisket sandwiches. They say they may open
another site in central Phoenix that will serve dinner as well.
In the meantime, it is well worth a special trip around noon. Highly
recommended.

| A & J Chicago Style Barbeque | Phoenix, AZ | |
|
The rib tips had been boiled and
smoked (go figure?), the flavor of the meat was all washed out.
The chicken wings might have been alright had they not been so
hot. It was hard to tell if the meat was really any good under all
that heat. The atmosphere was better and the people nice, but
that's not enough for this bbq lover.

| Y C's Mongolian Barbeque | Phoenix, AZ | |
|
The gal at the register
at lunch time constantly is cleaning the stray food from the serving
line, and the rest of the place is kept spotless. Wonderful place
to get lunch...it wasn't a very good value for me for dinner,
since dinner is all-you-can-eat, it costs more, and I can't
eat more than the one-trip lunch bowl, anyway! Hubby went through
twice, though, at dinner...so better bargain for him.

| Lovejoy's Kc Pit Barbeque | Phoenix, AZ | |

They smoke the meat in a hickory smoker, anyone from Kansas City
MO eill love this place.
My Favorite is the smoked tips.

||
| The Monastery | Phoenix, AZ | |
|
They
give you what you want to throw on the grill and you cook it! like
the outdoor volley ball court and atmosphere!
|
||
| The Old Spaghetti Factory | Phoenix, AZ | |
|
You can upsize
your order for an additional $1.50 which is a good bargain for
the 'man-sized' portion you end up with! Teens will
like the Italian sodas (unfortunately they are not refillable
like regular drinks, but splurge a little...) The mizithra cheese
is a must-try, at least once...but you will most likely fall in
love with it, hubby did! We have almost always had great service
here, and we go often.

||
| The Phoenician | Scottsdale, AZ | |
|
This is not a place that you will fill up on junk food, but you will
enjoy thefood and the practice of which fork to use should be well
done. They are great for receptions. Only the best of the best
will be there so be on your toes.

| Red Devil Italian Restaurant Dining Room | Phoenix, AZ | |
|
The pizza and the hot wings are great. the family likes the fact
that the pizza has so much toppings on it you get it in every bite.
you get your moneies worth. Lots and lots of cheese on the pizza
as well. Enjoy, you will be glad you did

||
| Home Town Buffet | Phoenix, AZ | |
|
The very best thing
there is the peach cobbler...I told hubby he will have to bring
me back just for that! It was great. When we went, it was lunchtime,
so not too busy, that was nice...we were able to talk and just enjoy
the lunch.
