I used to go here when I was in college. Good food, larger than average
portions, and "regulars" to gleam some small town
gossip and history from. This is a great place to relax and let
your hair down.

| Bennigan's Naperville | Chicago, IL | |

Great food and drink menus to choose from. This location stays
open later than most establishments nearby so if you need a bite
to eat late nite you won't be disapointed. GUINNESS on tap!!!!

| Chili's Southwest Grill | Orem, UT | |
|
The nationwide chain of Chili's seems to always attract
the crowds so be sure to plan plenty of waiting time, especially
on the weekends. The food is good, although sometimes a bit pricey,
and the service is generally prompt and thorough. It's a
good place to take a date, or a few friends, but large parties might
find it very crowded.

| Applebee's | Saint Louis, MO | |
|
The steaks here are great even when they're bad! Always tender,
Even when ordered well done. The riblet platter is a full pound
of BBQ beef ribs that the best I've ever had! Two sides can
be chosen with each, such as baked potatoe or french fries, garlic
mashed potatoes, country potatoes, cole slaw, baked beans or
vegetable of the day. The garlic Texas Toast that comes with each
meal is also great, but you'll want more then the one slice
you're given, I'm sure! So be sure and order a basket
of 4! I've never had bad service. I'm always treated
like I'm the only customer there!

| Joe's Crab Shack | Pineville, NC | |
|
This restaurant is a REALLY fun place! The decor is kind of campy
and the waiters/waitresses all wear various Joe's T-shirts
with cute slogans on them. Sometimes they have theme nights where
all the staff will be dressed alike ... like in togas. This is a
great place to bring the family for a birthday dinner or a graduation
party. The food was wonderful. I recommend the BBQ Dungeoness
Crabs and the Soft-shell Crabs when they are in season. Also,
ask if they have their Buffalo Crawdads on the appetizer list
... they are delicious! There is a kids menu and a full variety
of beverages.

| Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano | Fort Wayne, IN | |
|
Chain restaurant dining at its finest. Excellent food and service...albeit
a bit pricey. Excellent parking, easily accessible, and the
ambiance of the establishment is first class. The servers were
well versed on the menu and were very attentive. I have dined there
on a number of occasions, and have never been disappointed in
the quality of the cuisine. Some of my associates dine at Biaggi's
quite frequently...and I have never heard of someone reporting
a bad experience.

| Steak N Shake | Tampa, FL | |
|
The breakfasts are great. You can full and get quality for under
$5.00. Later in the day it's crowded and the burgers and shakes
are still worth the wait. This is not politically correct dining.
The light amount of grease on the burgers is not only authentic
but what comes off of the grill in cooking and sure does add taste.
The shakes are the original fifties flavor. Even the chili is
good. It may be true that you will spend here what you would spend
for a quality dining experience somewhere else if you go all the
way but the underlying quality here makes it all worth it.

| Le Peep | Edison, NJ | |
|
Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere. Our top choice
when traveling, this restaurant has the classic CrackerBarrel
food. The meatloaf is some of the best you will eat along with the
baby carrots. The home made Pot Pie is also very, very good and
huge, you will get full. Breakfast is great also, especially
the Sunrise Sampler..three hickory smoked meats, bacon, sausage
and ham along with eggs, hashbrowns, etc. I would recommend any
Cracker Barrel.

Ooops! Wrong restaurant!
This is a franchise in a national chain. The decor is country french,
with an emphasis on eggs. As it is locally operated, the staff
is friendly, and fast. The food is excellent, lots of choices,
and BIG helpings. This is indeed a breakfast that will carry you
all the way to lunch. Because the focus is on breakfast and brunch
this resturant closes at 2:00, so its not the place for a late snack.
I think this franchise deserves its high ranking in a recent Consumers
Report survey of breakfast oriented resturants.

| Lone Star Steakhouse&saloon | Norfolk, VA | |
|
Love this place. My mom is from texas so i have grown to love texas
style places. The steaks are great...and also the grilled chicken
breast is good. I like the bread you get too...I also love the free
bucket of peanuts they gave you to eat at the table while waiting
on your meals to arrive and then you just throw the shells on the
floor...it sorta adds to the rustic western decor they have....

| Olive Garden Italian Restaurant | Flagstaff, AZ | |

Excellent! Great place to go for a wonderful, fullfilling meal.
Whether at a table or sitting at the bar, the service is always
great. Love the pastas! The meals are always well done and prepared.
Great, warm atmosphere.

| Damon's the Place For Ribs | Orlando, FL | |
|
If you love ribs and are a sports fan then you cant go wrong here.
I enjoy watching football with a plate of ribs and a mountain of
fries. you can also play qb quarterback against the rest of the
country. Its just a fun place to get together with friends and
eat good food in a fun atmosphere.

| Romano's Macaroni Grill | West Des Moines, IA | |
|
Average price leans more towards the $10 range but it's worth
it. This is a modern place with great food and great service. If
you are waiting the cooks put on a great show of preparing your
meal. If the wait is too much for you to bear, there is a 2-story
Barnes & Noble across the parking lot. Don't worry about
missing your table - they give you a beeper to alert you that you're
up next.

| Benihana Of Tokyo | Atlanta, GA | |
|
Great place to stop for lunch or dinner. Everything on the menu
is fresh and prepared right in front of you. You even get to make
new friends while you're watching your meal cook. The side
sauces are tangy but not too overwhelming for the meek. Don't
know how authentic the food is but it sure is good! There are no
such things as doggie bags here'cause I've never seen
anyone leave anything behind. Atmosphere is good for a large
group or an intimate dinner. I have never been disappointed.

| Chipotle Mexican Grill | Denver, CO | |
|
For those not used to this type of restaurant the counter can be
a confusing place. The first time I went in I didn't know how
the whole thing worked and the employees were anything but helpful.
The end result was a great burrito, so I continue to stop back by
every once in a while on the merit of the food alone: definitely
NOT the service.

| Bennigans | Lewisville, TX | |
|
I had a work crew up in Lewisville last year and took them to this
place
three times. The boss was kind of upset at the major tab, but the
thought of going back each time got them to work even harder each
day! The steaks were the best I have ever had, and I even had the
fish and the chicken. Very pricey, but the service was top notch
and this was by far the best steakhouse I have ever been too. It
has a bit of an Irish flair to it, and in the food, and that could
be why it was so amazing. I have driven from Salt Lake City Utah
several times since simply because we just have nothing even
close to that here.

| Texas Roadhouse | Ashland, KY | |

Great atmosphere, excellent food, very busy place but it is well
worth the wait. You can have a drink at the bar while waiting for
your table. If you love steak Texas style this is place is a must.

| Pizza Hut | Smyrna, TN | |
|
This is an amazing place to be. The server staff couldn't
be better. Everyone is always smiling and having fun while being
there. A lot of the people that come in are locals; so everyone
is always happy to be there. Even when people come in from out of
town they are treated as if they were part of the Pizza Hut family.
The manager Jon, was especially nice to us when we dined in. This
is one of teh best experiences I have had at a Pizza Hut in a long
time.

| Hooter's | Dallas, TX | |
|
The best item on the menu is the Buffalo Shrimp. If you haven't
tried them, I suggest you do, as they are worth the price. Unfortunately,
not much else on the menu is; for the portions they give, Hooters
is pretty pricey.

Of course, as other reviewers mentioned, you *are* paying for
the atmosphere ("hooters"). From any seat there's
about TVs visible, all showing some type of sports. The waitresses
are of course very friendly, and sometimes put on little "shows"
later in the evening as less people show up.

Hooters is part of the American zeitgeist, so it's almost
a necessity to go at least once (if you're male, that is).
Girls don't need to worry about their boyfriends going;
it's all good-natured fun and the waitresses don't
do anything scandalous (as far as I know, anyway).
