The food is great but the ambiance is the best! It was built in the 1800s and the building is ornate. It is also known to be haunted. I have eaten there at least three times, and have never been disappointed.

Shannon's is a great place....wonderful atmosphere, great service, and excellent steak! If you are a baseball fan like me, so much the better!

Back in July of 2006 we experienced a power outage after a particularly bad storm. We went to Applebee's to cool off and had a nice meal there. We told the servers we were without electricity at home and were so glad to be there. The servers could have not been nicer to us and gave us several glasses of ice water to cool us down. We enjoyed a nice meal. We had their Cowboy burger. It was delicious. Of course I had their lemonade which always goes down smooth. When we were ready to go the server wished us well and hoped our electric would be back on very soon. Good food, good friendly service...what more could you ask for?

I love Applebee's. It is close to my house, the servers are friendly and do their job... and the food is excellent! My favorite is the Chicken Pasta Broccoli Alfredo bowl. It is served with a piece of Texas toast although I wish they served two pieces with it. I love the different lemonades they serve and usually get that with my meal. I usually get the strawboerry lemonade. It is one of my favorite restaurants around here. I would highly recommend.
