Silk Road Restaurant Springfield, MO
Was an OK chinese restaurant. It takes quite a bit to be considered better than average in Springfields legion of chinese restaurants. There is a buffet that offers a variety of different dishes. An ok place to go if you are not too picky.
Lambert's Springfield, MO
Great family restaurant with fun atmosphere. Servers bring around free items such as fried okra and throw hot rolls to customers across the dining area. Great fun for the kids. Establishment sees a lot of tourist trade including buses which at times makes it difficult to get seating at prime eating times espeically on the weekend. 30 minutes from Branson, MO and 10 minutes from Srpingfield, MO. Overall a fun place to eat. Reasonably priced.
Zio's Italian Kitchen Springfield, MO
Italian cuisine in a casual atmosphere. Appropriate for family, business or romance. Servers are friendly and service is usually quick. Entrees are resonably priced and the establishment is kid friendly.
Mister Yen's Springfield, MO
Chinese quisine. Service is quick. Food is fair but not, in my opinion, up to the standards set by the large number of chinese restaurants in Springfield, Missouri.
Mexican Villa Springfield, MO
One of several in the chain in Springfield, Missouri. Food at this particular store is fair and not up to the usual as found at the original store on National Avenue. Will not venture to this store again saving my tastebuds for the National Avenue store.
Ziggies Cafe Springfield, MO
Very good breakfasts. Hard to find a seat on the weekend or late at night. Open 24 hours a day. The restaurant has gone smoke-free but opened a satellite restaurant across the street call Ciggies for the smokers. Quick, friendly service. Always a treat to visit.
St. Louis Bread Company Springfield, MO
Excellant bakery for breakfast and very good sandwiches and soups for lunch and dinner. Very casual dining. Eat in or take out. Has changed names from St. Louis Bread Company to Panera in the last 6-12 months.
Fuji Japanese Seafood & Steak Springfield, MO
Good japanese food and sushi. Service good. Prices fair. However, cannot stand up to Nakato's Japanese Steak House, also in Springfield. Good second if you can't get into Nakato's.
Cheddars Springfield, MO
Casual dining. Quick service and good food. Very busy on weekends. Line often extends to parking lot. Worth the wait.
Golden Coral Springfield, MO
Great place for large eaters or families on a budget. A lot of food for relatively small price if you like to eat ALOT. Usually crowded and noisy. Lots of kids. Great place to take the in-laws you don't like. I will say they have an above average breakfast buffet.
Friday's Springfield, MO
Very good food and service. One of the busiest restuarants in Springfield, especially on the weekend though worth the wait. Fun atmosphere, bar with seating and service, kid friendly. Great place for adult birthday parties. Servers join in the revelling often wearing funny hats.
Mr Goodcents Subs & Pastas Springfield, MO
Average sandwiches. Service good and quick. Prices fair. Not bad in a pinch but Subway much better.
J Parrino's Pasta House & Bar Springfield, MO
Very good italian food in a quiet, casual atmosphere. Good for family or romantic dining. Quality food for the dollar. Quick and friendly service. Excellant lunch fair.
Springfield Brewing Co Springfield, MO
Great place for couples and singles. Not really a family atmosphere. Bar on ground floor with pool tables on the second floor. Lots of college kids. Smoking allowed so if your allergic beware. Food good and service quick. Can be a little wait on the weekends.
Nakato Japanese Steak House Springfield, MO
The BEST japanese food in Springfield, Missouri. Chefs prepare food with a show at the tables that hold about 12 people. Very personable. Kids and adults alike love it. Chefs even tend to remember repeat customers. A new sushi bar with little boats carrying trays of sushi to the customer has been put in along with expansion for additional seating. Service is great but you may have to wait a while to enjoy especially on weekend. They will take reservations. A must to see.
Outback Steakhouse Springfield, MO
Overpriced food, slow service and usually a long wait to get inside to get it. Too many other great restaurants in Springfield to bother for this mediocre fare.
Ruby Tuesday Springfield, MO
Fun atmosphere appropriate for singles, couples and families. Service is usually quick and food good. Can be a little wait on the weekends especially at the restaurant located in the mall. Worth checking out while spending the day at the mall.
Mc Salty's Pizza Cafe Springfield, MO
Good food, quick service and fun atmosphere. Really fun on Friday and Saturday nights when a local band plays starting at 8pm. They play great music with a comedy twist. All I can say is go early to get a good seat on those nights. Eat and enjoy. Kid friendly though smaller ones tend to get bored quickly as they do not get the humor.
Shady Inn Springfield, MO
One of the, if not best, steaks in Springfield. Formal atmosphere at night (less so along with prices for lunch). Great place for a romantic date or to impress visiting friends or business associates. Great service and again a steak to die for.
Coyote's Adobe Cafe & Bar Springfield, MO
Great atmosphere with good food. Appropriate for singles (bar) couples or families. Often a site for local live radio broadcasts. Super wings a must to try. Recently hosted an event for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Give it a try.
