| Mock Crest Tavern | Portland, OR | |
|
Nice little tavern with an OUTSTANDING flame broiled burger! Couple
of microbrews on tap, beer garden, and live music on weekends. The nice
dinner salad and gardenburger were also a surprise for a tavern.

| Bob Mcnamara's Sports Bar & Grill | Minneapolis, MN | |
|
We had the fried chicken and lots of beers. Both tasted great. Nice way
to end the evening after being downtown.

| Nye's Bar & Polonaise Room | Minneapolis, MN | |
|
As a bar, it's fabulous. Great old lounge atmosphere...a little
of Vegas or Atlantic City right in the TC. The piano bar and polka band
are both just a hoot and, let's face it: this place is a tradition.
Cheesy, but in a very good way. The food is another matter.
The polish specialties are excellent, but the place is just plain pricey,
too pricey for my tastes in this atmosphere. If you want a hilarious
fun place to drink, go to Nye's...but bring the checkbook.

| Goodfellow's | Minneapolis, MN | |
|
Extensive wine list, dining is an event here. It's not fast food
so if you're in a hurry you're better off elsewhere. We were
not disappointed at all.

| Axels Bonfire in Woodbury | Minnesota | |
|
Another great Axels example! Food is AA grade. Service is exceptional.
Atmoshpere is.. well.. they spared no expense. It has a nice mix between
sportsbar, and upper crust dining. It's a must try!
On the menu are alot of pizzas.. burgers, fajitas, fish, steaks, and
more..

| Kincaid's | Minneapolis, MN | |
|
For dinner or lunch, Kincaid's provides a busy but professional
atmoshphere for the executives that work in the adjacent office buildings.
They have a variety of choices ranging from sandwiches to steak and
seafood. It is expensive, but they offer two menus for those that might
be a little lighter in the wallet. Beautiful hostesses and a bar across
from the dining area add to nostalgia as you look at Normandale Lake
during your meal. Very good restaurant and has received numerous awards.

| Vanilla Bean | Two Harbors, MN | |
|
The Vanilla Bean features an interesting menu, bistro atmosphere.

| Ranch Family Restaurant | Rochester, MN | |
|
They have great steak. They have great breakfasts and lunch items as
well. Plus they have some of the most devine desserts. Their sugar cookies
are slightly cherry flavored and delicous. If you havent tried this
restaurant you really should. They have some of the most friendly wait
staff i have seen around rochester

| Bennets On the Lake | Duluth, MN | |
|
A very good restaurant for the occasional diner, but the static menu
grows tiresome for the frequent Duluth diner. However, if you do stop
by, you will experience a wonderful atmosphere and food which is top-notch
California-style fare.

||
| Italian Oven | Saint Paul, MN | |
|
I'll give them a good food rating, but the service! No reservations,
and for as busy as a small place like this is, that's just aweful!!!
And then once you are in, you have wait staff that bring their personal
lives to work, and when you have to send a mis-cooked steak back 3, 4 times,
and they are not even willing to compensate your troubles by picking
it up, even though it became in-edible at the end??? YUK!

| Bryant-Lake Bowling Lanes | Minneapolis, MN | |
|
Strangest bowling alley menu you'll ever find. Very yuppie, yet
homy, appetizers and a great beer list. Anything cold on the menu is
a good bet, and they do great things with smoked fish. I've heard
the burgers are outstanding, and they looked very original in the menu,
but I haven't tried them. The clientele is very funky
and young. It's a great place to people watch. The place also houses
a small independent theater, with improv, plays and live music. A great
place to kill an evening.

| Patrick McGovern's Pub | Saint Paul, MN | |
|
It remains one of our best experiences ever and by far the best turkey
and gravy to date. Thanks for the memory!

||
| 5-8 Club Tavern and Grill | Minneapolis, MN | |
|
This was the worst experience i have ever had. I understand it is a burger
joint but at least check on us. we sat there for ten minutes without even
being greeted. then when we were she didn't come back but to drop
off the check. our juicys had all of our cheese in the basket not in the
burger. i would not ever go her again and i'm telling all of you don't
waste your time waiting in line to fight for a table here ever. there
is too much around that is better. don't listen to those who tell
you otherwise.
