Pita Pit Moscow, ID
The first time my fiance and I decided to try Pita Pit, I was a little uncertain about what was good on the menu and asked the cashier what he recommended. He responded very rudely, "I dunno, maybe a pita?" I laughed, thinking it was a joke, but then saw that he was glaring at me! He ignored me after that, and I decided to ask the second employee (the one who was cooking the meat) what he recommended instead. He literally rolled his eyes and responded, "How should I know what you like? Don't you ever go to Subway? We're the exact same thing." The food was alright, but our service was horrendous. Tonight, months later, my fiance and I decided to give the place a second chance. We came in around nine at night and placed our order. The ponytailed cashier seemed nice, and the cook was laid back as well, so we hoped this experience would be different. When the cashier asked if we wanted our order "for here or to go" we said "Here". He handed us our pitas and walked away. We went to the tables and notices that they had all been stacked on top of one another with chairs stacked on top. When my fiance started to set one up for us, the cashier came over and said, "You can't eat in here, I washed all those and I want to be able to leave early." It was only 9pm, and the place didn't close until 2:30 am! Five and a half hours from then! We looked at him quizzically and he repeated, "You can't use these, you'll have to eat outside." (40 degrees out and windy, mind you!) And the food? My pita was full of wilted lettuce and hardly anything else I'd asked for. I had to throw it out. I'm absolutely appalled at the service I have received at this location, and I can't say I'd EVER recommend it to anyone. I most certainly will not be eating there ever again. Sorry Pita, but no third chances for you.
